Could it be because he made 4 points in 10 minutes and TJones and Parsons 2 points each in 20 and 26 minutes, respectively?

By the way, what does a "5th year old girl" mean?

In general: This was one loss. No need to make any conclusions based on this (one game). Chicago is and has been a very tough team under Thibodeau.

Mchale's idiotic substitution patterns are gonna kill the rockets come playoff time. We really need a legitimate championship level head coach because mchale has shown ZERO EVIDENCE that he is that.
That includes his failure of a stint in minny. He will never get fired due to the fact that mchale is morey's lap dog where morey can push his nerd fantasies of how basketball should be played overstepping his GM boundaries.

I hate it when we get embarrassed on national tv. It just provides more ammo to hate on us from these so called sports analysts.

We need to turn up on Sunday and murder the heat. (Which BSPN will make excuses for if the Heat lose again)

He&& yeah im going to believe what I want to believe. All because you don't believe in your team will not sway me as well as others to not have any faith. I've watched plenty of basketball and trust me anything can happen. This not being a homer or none of that trash you are spewing.

Have you not seen Casspi go off on any team. They are all professional pimpn. Another thing you didn't even watch the freaking game. bwhahahahaah the Rockets for some reason kept leaving him as well as others open. Dude was hot, lol shi& happens.

Did you watch the 1st meeting we had with the Bulls we beat the Bulls 109-94. That same player you are riding only scored 9 freaking points.

This same team beat the Heat twice and Pacers once. Stop over-reacting

Rox always have trouble with defensive teams.

The reason is that Rox is not a good half-court team.

Yes they are. Rockets should be one of the best half-court team if only they'll (or somebody) will play pick-n-roll. They've got the best rollmen (one of them doesn't even have the best hands to finish but rolls good enough to be in good position for a catch), and the best backcourts (Harden and Lin) to begin with. WTH, the hated (at least when we're booted out by them) tandem of Stockton and Malone are very effective once upon a time.

Totally agree! This team is mentally weak.

We had one max cat who had no flexibility in his post game, low in bbiq & court awareness, and, more often than not, easily got frustrated at the cost of his team.

Another max cat who was often lost on D, and when he was locked down by opposition defenders, it was 4 vs 5; he just didn't know how to contribute when he wasn't scoring.

A PF who was consistently embarrassed by other legit PF's.

A SF who was looking ahead for his big contract at the cost of his defense. When he couldn't hit his shots, he was totally useless.

Bev is the heart and soul of the starting lineup. He was the one who "glued" those broken pieces together and made this team somewhat a legit contender. Somehow they all reverted back to their old selves after OKC.

The result of Bev vs Westbrook?

Not only Bev didn't get into WB's head, it'd WB who is still inside Bev's head.

Yes, in every aspect of the game they kicked our ass, including game planning and substitution decision.

McHale gets blamed almost every loss...

this one isnt on Mchale this is 100% on Harden/Parsons/Jones/Bev, Howard was the only starter who seemed to wanna play.

To be fair, the Rocket is now where we fans expected it to be at the beginning. but there are three things that were heavily discussed at the beginning that have NOT happened:
1 a lot of PnR between Howard and Harden.
2 6 man role for Lin
    3 Howard's solid post moves...

Even with Howard, our defense is still far from what a contender should have. Our coach's work seems to be only motivating the player to play hard.

Our offense? wait until the opposing team plays zone....

It's simple: he is the backup player for Bev. Unless we play small ball, Mchale will substitute him out at 8 minutes mark.

I feel it goes deeper than that. It is also more complicated.

It'll explode if they come out and play like they did last night. If you told me at the beginning of the week that they'd go 0-3 on this road trip, I would've been disappointed but not surprised. All 3 opponents are respectable teams. Miami and OKC are heavy favorites to be back in the Finals and Chicago's been playing as well as anyone since the new year.

But if you told me they'd get blown out by the Bulls and all 5 starters would each play arguably their worst game of the season(yes, even Dwight who had 7 TOs), and that this would happen coming off a loss to OKC where they got badly outplayed for 3 1/2 quarters(which BTW also happened against Portland even though they eventually won that game), that's not disappointing. It's infuriating.

Maybe the Rockets are destined for the 4th seed regardless of how many of their remaining games they win. But the least they can do is actually show up for the games. If anything, treat them as preparation for the playoffs.

McHale isn't to blame for some of the players sucking.
McHale IS to blame for not holding them accountable on the floor through the use of minutes.

If a player isn't putting forth good effort, you chew them out. If they STILL aren't giving good effort, you BENCH them.

If that's good enough for Lin and the bench players, it should be good enough for the Starters.
