When the starters have clearly given up and aren't trying, why the hell not? Especially since Lin, D-Mo, and Asik were actually effective in 1st half.
So? Obviously he is uninformed. Rockets, despite tonight, have had the best record for 2 months now. His quote just shows ignorance.
No strategy changes? That is just plain lazy. I mean if something isn't working, shouldn't you try something different. Putting it ALL on the players is lazy, but that is what he does. We have talent, but imo, with this person as coach we're not going make it in the playoffs against the top teams. We've lost 3 against the Clippers and 3 against the Thunder thus far and you can be assured that's who we'll have to meet in the playoffs. Mucho talent, but no direction. Just heroball, Parsons jacking up all kinds of ill-advised shots, and no dynamic strategy on offense; just "don't let the ball get sticky" "we need more energy" "play harder" "play smarter". Sorry bub, coaching platitudes won't cut it, we need savvy coaching. Morey you are wasting the Rockets chances with this guy at the helm #realtalk #smartbutstubborngm.
Mchale needs to have the balls to sit all the starters to teach them a lesson, not let them keep on playing like ****
I hope you understand I don't disagree with doing this, especially in this game. Just pointing out a possible fact.
McHale should have gone to the bench about 5 minutes ago, its was sooo obvious the starters don't have it.
You guys need to give it a rest with your stats. We have a predictable offensive scheme where the bulls are just packing the paint and we are camping and missing 3s. Howard is also not a reliable post presence either.
