"Sometimes he'd rather have 29 points and nine turnovers and I tell him, 'Jeremy, we're trying to win." LMAO
man... this is beyond a statistical anomaly. the team was either poisoned or poisoned themselves with alcohol and strippers. I'm thinking the latter.
I do not remember in ANY NBA game a coach straight up sitting the starters and letting the bench "have the game" this early. As much as fans want this, I doubt this is something an NBA coach will actually do.
when facing elite defend teams this superstar iso heavy lineup just wont work no matter how "fit" you put it on the other hand if you havent got a plan to def their screen actions except switch or have the guard fight through, they got open shots every time exposed both ends.
One thing I noticed is all of our guys give up on defense/effort if our shots aren't falling. Weak mentality.
Fully agreed. He's getting better and better, but in game, sometimes he's still really stubborn. Luckily this game is a regular season game. Hope it knocks some senses in them. If you don't have the heart to compete, it doesn't matter who you've beaten, you are a bottom team of the league.
They aren't wrong but they've been spoiled by many years of having a top 3 coach in the league. There's only 3 of them!!
