Signed for all that money but is gonna miss the rest of the season. Hell he might miss half the season next year depending how he's feeling.

That's funny, I thought he was already out for the season. I'm sure the Lakers don't want him coming back anyway. Kobe won't help them tank.

I hope Kobe stays for the length of his contract (AND PLAYS!) so the Lakers are stuck in mediocre no man's land.

People said the NBA would suffer without Kobe. Anyone missing him?

I'll be honest, I love watching Kobe playing, it's too bad that he may never be a productive player again.

Just to be clear, I didn't mean for that post to demean Kobe. My point is I think people were implying the NBA ratings would suffer in a league without the superstar Lakers and Kobe

Is this the Lakers way of saying they are officially tanking for Wiggins?

Probably the same butthurt canker sores who perpetuate the Dwight-Howard-is-a-jerk image.

I have ZERO doubt that Wiggins will be on the Lakers next season.

don't think the lakers will catch the bucks or the sixers who are in ultra tank mode right now. lakers as is have a bunch of good to great role players.

The question went from "how good will he be when he returns?" to "can his body handle the rigors of the NBA?"

He is done. Watch him blow his knee out eight games into next season and then proceed to play 25 games over two more seasons for three different teams based on "what if he recaptures his Mambaness?"
