Love the bad blood these two teams have. That was fun to watch.

just not our nights. a lot of "close to the rim" misses. Our activities were fine, but somehow just lack of the third gear to get loose balls...
Dwight is a little bit off, others are all ok, but no fantastic players...
D rotation at times were lost, but the effort was superb...
Not enough for Beverley on Westbrook, let him blow by too easily...
If I were Coach McHale, I would put the small lineup a little earlier.

Correction. Dwight has a limited *post-up offensive.
His pick n roll offensive game is the best in the league if not the best in the history of the NBA for a big man.

The reason he insists on wanting to be taught how to post up is for another conversation.

He might be too old and injury prone in a year. Loved how he shot (and made) the deep ball without conscience in his time here. Enjoyed his trolling, especially after his dunk on KD. Wouldn't mind having him back if healthy.

Well in the end OKC's interior defense was the difference. I love Beverley's toughness, and happy to see Garcia have a good game.

Sadly though, the Rockets weren't able to establish Howard inside due to the stellar defense the Thunder played. Their interior defense also altered and blocked a lot of shots from our guard penetrations to the middle as well.

Hopefully something like that could be adjusted for in a 7 game playoff series.

You make a good point. This is not the team that Morey expects to win a championship with. So I really don't think we can be too hard on the coaches or the players.

Morey has been determined for a long time to be a player in 2015. We will see what happens. Morey kind of jammed himself up with Lin and Asik, and now we just have to wait. In the mean time, I think the team is performing pretty well, but I don't think we have enough firepower to win a championship.

#meant not enough help defense for Beverley on Westbrook. Beverley did a good job on Westbrook in general other than the two stupid fouls on Westbrook's 3

Another game that shows against teams like OK we have to increase variance to bear them. Gotta go small early and ditch Jones and DMo for more perimeter play and space.

What a let down after the big win against Portland. Really, no one come to play except for Garcia. Everyone looked tired out there.
That pass from Howard to Asik standing at the bench when he wasnt on the court was sign that Howard and the rest of the Rox head wasnt in the game

What, that they're 7-3 against us in the last 10?*

Ha, nothing but a flea to them.

    *Including tonight

    Good to see Garcia back!

I liked the Lin-Harden-Parsons-Garcia-Asik line up. Hope to see more of it.

I expected McHale to go small ball much sooner. Hope he does that next time.

They probably were tired. It took one helluva comeback and OT to beat Portland just 2 nights ago. And that followed the Indiana game which, while it was a blowout, had to be tough to come down from emotionally. They were due for a letdown and it finally happened. Hell, it probably would've happened a week ago had their opponent not been the lowly Magic.

He actually moved the ball well and his D was decent. The heat check got him benched IMHO and that last TO. We all know by now that his leash is the shortest.

Well Lin didn't show up until the 4th the last game and guess what happened? He was one of the main reasons why they won that night. This is also what happened with the Knicks. He always shows up in the 2nd half or the last quarter.
