Insecure, simple-minded people choose a scapegoat whenever something goes wrong.

Sometimes certain guys fail and played a large role in the loss, but rarely do they deserve scapegoating.

Nobody on our team is perfect: Harden still isos too much and disappears at times on D, Howard takes too many risks on D and sometimes struggles to score on certain defenses, Parsons is streaky with his sling-shot release, Lin is a confidence roller coaster, Asik still has concrete hands and sometimes checks out, Beverley doesn't know when to lay off and Jones is young and disappears for games at a time.

But they all bring something to the table, and wouldn't be playing if they were doing more harm then good (overall). This is our team, and we're not perfect, but we are damn good. Lets be civil and rational.

I bet a lot of fans of other teams are saying the same thing about Harden. He is a superstar, and occasionally he will win games for you.

Don't start trolling please. This was a team (no) effort. Dwight was horrible, Harden was not that good, and Beverley was ineffective.

When a team loses, it is typically on the coach and the starters. Same is true for a win.

At least the 2nd half was somewhat watchable compared to the 1st half. However, even when the Rockets got within 5 points, I never had the feeling that we had a chance to win. OKC always had the right answer. The only way for us to beat that team is with BOTH of our superstars showing up. That certainly was Dwight's worst game in a long time.
Considering the wins against MIA, IND and POR though, I am not too disappointed about that loss.

On the plus side. Welcome back Cisco. We missed your 3s. Dat fadeaway 3 at the end of shot clock. Surprisingly we also missed your D on Durant.

We should have started Garcia for this game. He's just the type to drop 40+ on the Thunder lmao.

if that's the sole reason he was taken out, that just proves how incompetent Mchale is. He should've picked up on Bev's emotional state the whole night and sat him down. He hurt more than he helped. What a shame.

Just one game against okc or the clippers, that's all I want. I'm starting to hate these teams like the jazz except I respect the thunder, clippers not so much.

    We got outsmarted.

Fisher killed us with his smarts - our guys were caught up in the machismo of the moment.

Got to play smarter and play within yourselves.

Harden was entering beard-mode, and Beverley ****ed it up.

I didn't watch the game until late the 4th quarter when Harden's 3 got us within 5 points so I couldn't comment on anything else.

I didn't understand why Beverley had to get so close to Westbrook and fouled him. Westbrook was way downtown with the short clock running out. I simply put it down to him being over aggressive.

    Lin actually played okay.
KM should have let him ride out the 4th quarter. I just don't think McHale trusts him...and when you don't trust someone, you put restrictions on them.

Bev, sometimes he has this look at me, I'm scrappy, pesky and animated thing he wants the world to see. Backfired.
    He got showed up tonight.

Dwight, looked like a dancer with two left feet. His movements, sometimes, are so mechanic, or perhaps awkward. Like he read a 123 how to book of post up moves.

    A deserved loss.

Our starters played like scrubs... Yes, call you out individually... HARDEN, HOWARD, PARSONS, BEVERLEY.

Hate to say it but Lin being benched for taking a heat-check 3 when he was generally moving the ball

    for

Beverley who was completely useless out there and even put the dagger in our own hearts with that stupid 3pt foul on Westbrook when we were within 5pt...

This was the dumbest move of the game by McHale.

Maybe Lin really is on a way tighter leash than anyone else on the team, why is that? It certainly not good for the team. As I see it, we really need Lin playing well to go anywhere in the playoffs. Best line-up down the stretch, especially if its close is...

    Beverley
    Lin
    Harden
    Parsons
    Howard

Thunder and Clippers will be a nightmare for this team in the playoffs. Better pray they don't get matched up with them.

Thought Lin would come back in at the 4 min. Mark

Nobody stops Westbrook but Westbrook and at least Lin could have taking some of the offensive burden from harden

    Parsons 6/17 very Jr Smith

I love Howard, but his post ups are too predictable versus the better big man defenders in the game. He really has no counter move. He is always trying to go to the hook with one spin move. Maybe he should try to fake the hook shot sometimes and instead go under like McHale use to do. Too many times he gets caught under the rim as well making it easy to block his shot and unfortunately the defense collapses on him so he can't even pass it back out.
