Just wondering because of this picture:

Omri seems to have sought out a picture of Bush at the White House and took a photo with it as if he admires him.

That is a lot to infer from an instagram picture. Generally, people in Israel are more pro-W than the Jewish community here... not always though.

I've been to Israel once for a 5-week period and have met a bunch of Israelis here in the U.S., and for the most part, they were huge fans of Bush. They felt that he really stood by them.

Shot some footage in Jerusalem a couple if years ago and got the feeling that many people didn't have strong feelings about American politics. The More religious preferred Bush, the less religious were indifferent.

Then I ended up on the Arab side of Jerusalem and the local we paid to help/watch us was trying his best to goad us Americans into a political conversation. I did my best Not to engage in the topic, but I think it made him mad. He made it very very clear that he liked "Bush the First" but not the son (wouldn't even refer to him by name). He wanted to know what i thought about Obama, and he stated that He loved Obama because "his father was a Muslim, so he is a Muslim in his heart".

Many younger Israelis prefer Brazilian wax jobs.

He certainly seems to have been more of a staunch supporter of Israel than Obama.

    Bush was a leader.
he meant business, and every terrorist knew it.
imo, under bush the chances of today's world chaos, would have been sleem to none.

he wouldn't have let the Iran , north Korea, and russia do what ever thay want.
they would think twice before making moves that they are willing to make when the u.s is under Obamas control.

bush had respect, and represented a powerfull America.

we loved him in Israel and we also loved Clinton, so it's not a liberal republican thing.

Really? I guess you missed what Iran, N. Korea and Russia did When the U.S. was under Bush then? You seem to be omitting things that happened in the world for some reason.

    didn't missed it.
Russia attack on Georgia was at the end of bush secound term. There wasn't much he could have done, more than he already did.

north Korea nuclear test and threats weren't as loud if any, when bush was incharge.( although he also didnt do enoth to stop the suffering of the people there, those orth korean camps, were there and their must be destroyed).

regarding Iran and the entire Muslim world, Sunni or Shia, all of the chaos and the Arab spring, happend on Obamas term. I'm sure bush would have back is proxy state, egypt. obama didn't and the chaos started, allowing al quaida to take control on parts of Iraq and Syria, the Muslim brothers in egypt and it still going on.

A powerfull leader would have prevented the avalanche.

The largest advancement in Iran's nuclear program happened during the Bush administration. The greatest proliferation of N. Korea's nuclear program also happened during the Bush administration.

With regards to Russia, Obama did manage to get the Russians to do exactly what he hoped they would do regarding Syria. And as you said the Russia/Georgia thing happened during the Bush administration.

It seems make beleive to think Bush who didn't do more than Obama regarding N. Korea and Iran would somehow have actually done more than Obama in a more effective way had he still been president.

The Jews will love whoever works for them. Fun fact: They sold Apache designs to China which China utilized to build their own chopper.

I would prefer a leader that valued the lives of my fellow Marines more and didn't shove them into wars of false pretext.
You want to start the next ww3.... by all means go fight in a war before you feel so tigger happy about it.

No, it's a "Should Israel be above reproach and is infallible" type thing.
Bush as a Christian conservative who believed that you are some sort of chosen people of some imaginary being are infallible and above reproach. Thus, no matter what Israel did, or how many UN human rights violations they broke, they are the chosen people of "God".
Obama, who has a higher IQ and doesn't fall for these silly shenanigans about these invisible sky gods and the "chosen people" believes Israel ISN'T infallible.
