you can't win an argument. I can be the happiest person in the world and tell you McGrady doesn't belong with the Dream .
Yes he is a Rocket legend, no matter how much that butt hurt tinman whines. BTW, tinman sounds just like a laker fan as much as he whines. Seeing McGrady sitting next to Les and The Dream makes me happy for a couple of reasons, first, it is where he belongs, second, it proves just how wrong tinman is.
Name the three best NBA players of the last 30 years that didn't make it past the first round of the playoffs. That is where T Mac belongs. With those guys.
How many banners did tracy help bring up at Toyota center . There's a difference between Tracy who helped sell lots of jerseys and Hakeem who gave the organization respectability through championships .
There is a difference between the quality of the teams Tracy and The Dream played on. Funny how you seem to forget that basketball is a TEAM sport.
Tmac played with yao Ming and he managed to have playoff success without him. Hakeem was much more important to his team than tmac was to his. Hakeem played over 800 more rockets games and was the leader on the court on both ends. His teammates have not stopped talking about his leadership abilities and skills. Hakeem is a the king while tmac is just a jester
I get that he has done an incredible thing for the kids in Darfur, but honestly, what does any of that have to do with what he accomplished in Rockets red? All that means is he is a good human being. As a Rocket player, his legacy is basically empty however.
What's next, tinman? Are you going to tell us why Michael Jordan was a better player than Jerry Stackhouse? Your posts seriously lack substance.
That was cold man. Every body is entitled to there likes and disk likes and dislikes. If T,mac hadn't done the crap he did in his last 2 years with the Rockets maybe more people would like him. I was excited when he came to Houston put he left a soured memory.
Amazing that revisionist history has now claimed: 1) McGrady didn't make his teams better. Stats back this up and JVG swears by the fact that McGrady was the (arguably) best passing and playmaking forward of all time 2) McGrady didn't step up when it counted. His playoff averages are on LeBron's level. Yeah. He totally didn't step up.
If someone makes a thread that implies Stackhouse belongs with Jordan cause they are sitting next to each other at a jay z concert.
JVG got fired because his faith in tmac didnt produce results LeBron is significantly better than tmac same with Hakeem Tmac shouldn't sit next to LeBron either even at Starbucks
Which player as talented as T-Mac has achieved less than him then? The answer so far is.... no one. The fact of the matter is all of T-Mac's achievements are individual. He accomplished nothing out of his immediate self-interests when on the court.
Is McGrady a Rocket Legend? If the majority of the memories are from the regular season (13 in 35 or the winning streak, etc etc) than that should be your first clue. Legends are made in the playoffs!!!!! Hell look what Moses had around him and he took a team to the NBA championship against the Celtics. McGrady was certainly talented but he lacked the ONE quality that separate good players from great players and that's making the players around you better.
