Overall, tonight's TNA PPV is very good. Spoiler *The return of Great Muta and his green mist. *Samuel Shaw's character is interesting, not a ripoff of Bray Wyatt. *EC3 has some good mic skills/promo. *Bobby Lashley is back from MMA. *Gunner-Storm last man standing match is amazing. *Tigre Uno-Manik is also good, lots of high-flying spots but not a botch-fest. *Gail Kim-Madison women's cage match is great, about the same level as the NXT women's match between Paige-Emma. *Samoa Joe-Magnus world title match is ok. The ending was disappointing because a "surprise" interference from Abyss. *The Lethal Lockdown match reminds me of WCW's War Games. It was awesome. Jeff Hardy's alter ego, Willow, made his debut and Bully Ray (aka Bubba Ray Dudley) turned face and helped MVP's team win. TNA delivered and now it's WWE's turn to step it up next month with Wrestlemania right around the corner.
TNA could put on the greatest show in the history of the business and the WWE wouldn't even think twice about it... TNA is so far behind them.
Sorry dude, as much as I would love someone to force WWE to step up it's game, TNA is not legit competition. It was a once promising product that basically couldn't transition to big time. It reminds me of WCW post Stone Cold. They need to scale back, and focus on wrestling again, which is what gave it a good start, but then they tried to grow far to quickly.
If you will recall, WCW was consistently winning the ratings battle long after Austin went to WWE and became Stone Cold. It wasn't until after the nWo fizzled the first time that WCW lost its lead. Then Vince Russo came in and wrote it into oblivion.
I just don't understand the Bryan skepticism I see so much of in this thread. There's never been any main event talent who can touch his skill set, he may not be Punk or Jericho on the mic but he's still smart and knows how to sell a fued and certainly how to get a crowd behind him (in 27 years of following WWF/E, WCW, ECW...I can never remember anyone getting this kind of chanting or enthusiasm from a crowd and it's every Monday and every Friday. I'm talking Hulkamania, Austin 316, Cenanation, etc) Just wish Punk was in Batistas spot.
This would be really smart on their part, greatly improves 2 matches. Bryan doesn't have to win the belt, but they need somebody in that Batista/Orton match to make it interesting and Bryan is really the only man on the roster that fits the bill. They can still put the belt on whoever they intended to. Having said that there is no guarantee he goes over on Triple H, and boy if they thought this would take heat off the main event, if Bryan loses to Trips the title match is gonna get torched.
The chants are obligatory, thats like saying the real americans are the best tag team since the Dudley Boyz because everybody says, "We the people" when in reality they say it because they know its what they are supposed to do. If i was there i would chant yes, not because i want him to be pushed as the number 1 guy but because thats the gimmick...

If Jake Roberts had stayed clean, he could have transitioned into a nice painkiller-free life as a voice actor or voiceover talent. Also I now remember why I wasn't much of a WCW/NWA fan when I was a kid. This scared the hell out of me. Spoiler
IT'S VADER TIME!!!!! He should be in the WWE Hall of Fame. I also think the cast of Boy Meets World or his manager Harley Race will induct him.
Watching Bret Hart vs Hakushi 1st ever In your House PPV 90s, I don't think WWE now will ever be this good. The direction, the choreography, the ring announcer, compared to the garbage you see now, it's embarrassing to watch. New skool wrestling sucks.
agreed. it's amazing how the crowd is carried away and chants his name and catchphrase, reminds me of prime GOLDBERG while in wcw and attitude era SCSA, but even they didn't got pops like Bryan the entire evening. the scene on top of the cage while beating bray white was amazing, and I never saw nothing that resembled it.
