Oh. I don't have to make that up. It's all on tape. Tape you refuse to watch because you have Teddy blinders on...

That's fair, but Clowney is an Andrew Luck/Peyton Manning type of pick. Literally any player can bust, but it's much less likely that that caliber of player busts than an average QB prospect with a tiny frame.

Players who are in consideration for the #1 pick should be criticized. When you're at the top you're weaknesses are magnified and dissected. And that includes Mr 3 Sacks Clowney... It's not a detriment to the player but all aspects should be covered and discussed before drafting someone (like we really have a say so in it)...

But, I would burn a #1 pick (if they can't trade it) on Teddy before I would on Clowney if those two were my only choices... Good defensive players are MUCH easier to find than good offensive players. Just look at Seattle. Their two best pass rushers they got off the free agent scrap heap and won a super bowl with them and their only 1st round pick on that defense that worked out was Earl Thomas... The rest of that defense was built with free agents and late round picks and that's what Clowney supporters like Bobby and Tex overlook.

I forgot about Irvin... But he was suspended for part of the year and only had two sacks on the season. And he was their 1st round draft pick. A pass rusher with a fast combine 40 time... Lol. That dude has 1 sack in 5 playoff games.

Ha. I'm not a "Bridgewater" guy or an "anti-Bridgewater" guy so it's funny to see all these over the top Pro-Bridgewater and over the top anti-Bridgewater comments. So he's either the next Joe Montana or the next David Carr?

Depends where he's drafted. If the Texans take him first overall, probably. But honestly it's more likely that he'll be the next Jake Locker. Not bad, not good, drafted way too early, injury plagued short career.

Actually both come from pro style offenses.

He plays in a lot of pro formations but and does 3-5-7 step drops but he doesn't run a lot of pro style pre snap and post snap field reading concepts

Why would I "wish" that? What I "wish" is that there was a QB prospect worth picking first overall this year like there was 2 years ago. Unfortunately, that's not the case and I'm not going to just hype someone up as if they are that guy. This is a deep QB class, but there is no top notch talent, not matter how many times you keep saying that Teddy B is going to be the next Aaron Rodgers or Joe Montana or Odin or Ahura Mazda

Don't worry, you won't have to, I know that you think of him as a future deity, so if he becomes one, I'll tell you that you were right and that I was wrong.

The poise, the smarts, the accuracy, the touchness, the "IT" that everyone talks about

Its makes too much sense, the kid will be a killer in the league for a long time, I just hope its in the NFC or on the Texans
