I wonder, why was Chandler the one setting the screen for James to come out on top? Last time we ran that play in the clutch against the Wizards, Dwight set that (dirty) screen that rubbed Wall (or was that Beal) off James.

 

Imagine how utterly sick this team will be with more sharpshooters.

 

Besides Harden's 3 that sent the game into OT that Jeremy Lin fade away jumper over Lopez was my pick of the night. It went way over the top of the glass.

 

The 5 second rule is not a real rule. It gets called like once per season per team. Any other team than the Rockets there would have had the same benefit of the doubt with regards to inbounding: no one gets a 5sec violation in that situation.

Really, I like Bull, he has come a very long way since winning that ESPN dream job (if anyone remembers that), but Bill and Clyde might be in the bottom 3 of the entire league of best home P2P/Comm announcers, it's really, REALLY sad. What was very impressive is that even if though they tried their hardest to force him to go right, he still made the shots. That makes him even more difficult to guard.

 

Maybe the most impressive play Harden made was passing out to Lin for the three. He probably could have made something happen in the lane with a shot or a foul, but trusted Lin to connect. To win big, you have to have multiple clutch players to complement your main guy and I think we are developing that well.

It was at least 6 seconds from the 3 times that I timed it using my stopwatch. 6.05, 6.13, 6.11 respectively.

 

The Rockets took more than 5 seconds, but it was definitely one of those big plays where the refs are far more lenient.

They know they pissed off the crowd already, if they miscounted and called a 5 second violation when only 4 seconds went by, they wouldn't get out of the building alive.
