This was one of the best games of the year, and I didn't get to see it. Heck someone texted me about it, but I didn't feel like getting on my computer to watch it. I think I have only been to five games this year when I typically go closer to 20 games a year. I don't care whose fault it is, but it sucks to not have the rockets for close to two years in a row.
It just makes me have to work harder to watch games and keeps me from recording them, but my "fandom" is on an upswing.
Sorry but no... I have comcast so I can't complain about it. The coverage is great, I just wish more people could see it.
I barely got to watch the good parts of the game yesterday because I couldn't find a decent stream so yeah Im getting even more pissed off because of CSN. The CSN Houston thing looks like it wont be ending anytime soon. Definitely a frustrated fan, but less of a fan no. Even though it is tough to watch all the games.
Unfortunately the Rockets being good hasn't helped any. It will only take the Astros being good to get carriers to do something with Comcast. That won't happen for another year, at least.
Not less of a fan in the least. Actually, this prolly makes me appear as even more of a diehard due to the lengths I'll go to watch a game. Comcast is the s**tiest company on the planet.
Yall should read this thread....apparently its not Cranes fault. http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=250586 I have to say I'm pissed at the whole situation
It is tough to be a completely gung-ho fan of a team when you have to follow them via boxscores, crappy streams and downloaded next-day torrents.
Not less of a fan, still watch almost all games online/natl tv. Toyota Center has been rockin last 3 games. Sooo id say no. My hate for Comcast has increased as has my hate for Les for entering into this damn deal.
It's really frustrating. Not sure if my fandom has gone down, just getting used to not being able to see as many games. I read everything on the internet, watch all the highlights, pour over box scores and watch games from other teams on my mobile league pass. In some ways I feel more knowledgeable about everything in the NBA, except the actual Rockets play.
I feel for all of the locals who have this problem. As an out of stater, I can't imagine what it's like to not watch these unbelievable games. Hopefully some miracle happens and a solution comes about soon.
No. I'm still able to watch them as I always have been. It's been nice to help out people who aren't able to watch the game because of CSN.
No, but I live in Austin, so CSN doesn't apply to me. Ironically, I'm mad that the Rockets have so many nationally televised games this year, cause I can't watch them on League Pass.
Fanhood in tact for me. Just have to bring along the Tablet to watch games live at my Rec League games. can't Record anymore, i really took that for granted.
I live in Austin and have seen every game. How? I shell out for NBAtv (they've had several games on it this season) and get ESPN and TNT in HD. However, I'm not getting cocky (although I've heard justifiable rants from my friends and relatives in H-Town). Comcast is attempting to buy my provider, Time/Warner, which could screw the pooch for sure.
I live in the Beaumont area which unfortunately is in the blackout area so all the games on NBAtv get blacked out. The only games I get to watch on TV are the TNT & ESPN national games. I have to stream everything else which really sucks.
Not at all I have comcast and more of a fan than ever. Comcast as a whole may suck but CSN Houston provides great Rockets insight and other Rocket related shows
