That was awesome. That last 20 minutes was just about perfect.

I really liked the finale and how they chose to end it. While it didn't tie up all the loose ends regarding the case, I like that in the end they focused on the characters and their personal growth. Rust's whole outlook on life has changed and Hart was able to seemingly take an important step in his relationship with his family. The characters and their flaws and philosophies on life were always a driving force with what made the show great and I'm glad we got to see things end with both men in a better place then they were at the start of the 2012 section

Rust's final line about the light winning was the perfect way to end it.

Would I have liked them to have answered everything about the five men? Sure...but I didn't think they could have wrapped all that up in a hour long episode and I like that they gave us a great ending to the Errol story and focused on the two characters and what they got after "paying their debts"

damn impressive finale... those final scenes in carcosa were some of the creepiest scenes of any television show or film i can recall seeing. flat out scary.

glad they left so many unanswered questions - the show was really always about the two main characters and you knew there was zero chance they could've tied up all the loose ends in one hr. leaves you wanting more.

Wow, I am exhausted. That Rocket game and then this last episode. I was on the edge of my seat all night long. Happy with the way everything ended. Sorry that it's over, I really enjoyed it.

It was a good first season. Does anyone know if this storyline will continue next season with different actors?

Solid finale. I would of loved for more questions to be answered but I won't be greedy. That was some of the most intense television I've ever experienced.

Anybody else get hard when Errol finger-blasted his sister while she told the story of their gramps?

They never explained why the killer decided to display a body out in the open, the catalyst for the killer's downfall.

I am referring to the murder in the first episode (the girl displayed in the field). You are saying the killer's father did that murder?

The bodies in the open were his mark.

During this episode, he said "It's been weeks since I left my mark. Would it that they had eyes to see."

Anyways, freaking brilliant show. Every episode was amazing. The only season of any tv show I can say that about.

McConaughey was brilliant all season, but Harrelson really caught my eye this episode. I thought he was brilliant.

It's going to be interesting to see if this show ever reaches as high as this season has taken them again.
