Brady still threads the middle (like Blake does). Manning has Demaryius Thomas along with other great receivers that can get yac. Ryan... Don't even know why you're even mentioning him. You're starting to reach deep. Speaking of Brady... Blake is the one who performed big time under pressure in college like Brady and not Teddy. But I still wouldn't take either one with the #1 overall pick. The Texans can trade back and pickup whichever one they want if they want one of them bad enough because both will still be available.
Blake doesn't thread the middle bud Bridgewater does, Bridgewater also stepped up against an NFL caliber defense in Florida, has Bortles ever played a defense with 3 plus NFL starters on it????
If Bridgewater was two inches taller and twenty pounds heavier and played in a real conference and put up numbers he'd be the number one pick without a doubt
Obviously you don't watch a lick of tape... You haven't even watched Blake. I posted plenty of vids in the Blake thread. I suggest you watch them so you won't have to make stuff up. Dante Culpepper is even on the sidelines in one of those vids talking about the "NFL throws" Blake makes. And you're bringing up a Florida game that happened over a year ago where Louisville's defense dominated Florida and Teddy threw check down after check down managing the game. Speaking of Louisville. They have a team full of NFL defensive talent and have a couple of guys in the draft this year. So there you go. Blake also has played S. Carolina, Baylor, and Penn State this year. Who did Teddy face again...???
Well, Teddy did face UCF this year (Bortles). At home. And lost. On a clutch Bortles 4th quarter drive.
http://insiderlouisville.com/news/2...on-bridgewaters-nfl-prep-anything-elementary/ Shawn Watson interview about Bridgewater IL: Brian Billick, another Teddy fan, very cautiously compared him to another slightly built quarterback named Joe Montana. Watson: That’s the It factor I’m talking about. He has a natural feel for the game. The game goes very, very slow for him. In the middle of this hurricane, he is the eye, the cool and the calm and the poise. He brings creativity to the game. He can create outside of the parameters of the offense. And he’s a great competitor. … When lights got big, he was the brightest light on the field. The Sugar Bowl. Miami. The game against Rutgers, when he was really hurt. In Morgantown, when he was a freshman. He has It.
Well of course not, you think he's the next coming of Aaron Rodgers or Joe Montana, but in reality, he's a decent prospect with a small frame, going to Jacksonville would be the end of him.
Good lord, some of you guys are over the top with the criticism. I don't know if it's because you're in the tank for JFF or Clowney, but nothing positive on Bridgewater flies for you guys. I don't get it.
It's not just "positive" it's comparing Bridgewater, who is potentially the best QB in this draft and the 7th or 8th best pick in this draft class, to Joe f'n Montana. I'm waiting for the rhetoric to be ratcheted up a notch and have his fanbase start comparing him to deities.....there's plenty of time, I expect a "Bridgewater is the next Búri" post before the draft gets here.
