If not for injuries and his sour exit from the team I would consider him one of the best Rockets ever. I would have liked to have seen him here earlier in his career. When healthy he was one of the best all around players we've seen. His playoff woes tarnish his legacy of course, but anyone that watched him in the playoffs (again, when healthy) couldn't say he wasn't giving everything he had. I'm glad to see him get some love back in Houston.

Kind of funny how the only time the Rockets got past the first round over in the YaoMac days was when Tmac's 23mil corpse was rotting on the bench.

Yes. I consider him one of the best players to ever put on a Rockets uniform. Below Hakeem and a few others, but still great. I've never understood the McGrady hate on here.

Yes, it ended poorly because 1) he wanted to play and 2) wanted to stay in Houston and he went about thing the wrong way. But I can think of worse motivations. As such a great player he couldn't reconcile how quickly his physical skills deteriorated with the player he still was in his mind. That should take nothing away from what he contributed on the court over his tenure with the Rockets, which was immense.

Not a coincidence, the rockets team gelled and played team ball and didn't have to worry about distractions

Still waiting to see those 2nd round numbers on ANY team he was supposed to lead. T-Mac fans still have yet to answer me this question: has their been ANYONE with as much talent who has achieved less than T-Mac? Still waiting ToF's.

It's interesting how basketball is a team sport right up to the point that someone wants to create negativity towards a particular player.

I'm still waiting for some tired old hater to convince me that TMac should have won those two Jazz series despite his supporting cast. Please, try.

ToF was scared of making a poll because real rockets fans vote no.

Based on accomplishments tmac should be sitting about five light years away from dream

    Tmac has always been sitting
    on our playoffs hopes

Tmac sits next to les cause seating was based on income tax bracket
