“You always worry about that,” Aldridge said. “But I think guys are just angry about it and I think just want to take it out on Houston.”

Someone needs to tweet this quote to the team. Those are fighting words.

It's in Houston, so we need the crowd to give us a home court advantage if we want to win.

I predict rockets win by 8 in a closely contested match. Afterward Blazers fan will complain about the refs due to Rockets having double the free throws attempts then the blazers.

I love Bull's main key to each game being "Professionalism." The Rockets could easily go into this one...saying "Well, we just won 4 in a row, with wins including the Heat and Pacers. If we lose this one, we're still in good shape."

While that may be all well and true, they have to keep this killer instinct...this professional approach to each and every game. With wins like we just had, hopefully the Crowd will grow with each game. We need that home court advantage each time we play in Houston.

Here's to another tough game, but a winnable one! Let's keep it rolling!

We need Dwight to stay out of foul trouble vs. Aldridge, good thing we have a healthy Asik to sub in. Control the boards, defend the 3-pt line, and we come away with a W.

Houston is on a roll, but Portland is still a very dangerous team.

On the bright side both Beverley and Lin have played defense on Lillard very well in previous match ups.

On the down side, Portland can go off on just about anyone.

Some serious play off implications in terms of seeding and HCA so hopefully the Rockets come out with serious intensity. Getting the win to lock the tie breaker and knock Portland a full game back would be a very good thing.

Not to mention, the Rockets need all the wins they can get with the upcoming schedule being packed with tough opponents.

Should be one heck of a game.

    portland

After a winning streak against crappy teams, Portland has been playing unevenly the past three games. They lost by one point to the LAKERS(!), crushed Atlanta, then fell behind by 30 points against Dallas, rallied to take the lead, then ultimately lost the game by 5 points.

Now, they've got the Rockets, and they're vulnerable. Signs point to a Rocket win.

I agree. This is a dangerous game and a very important one. Rockets' urgency/intensity especially defensive intensity in the first quarter are going to be key. They can't have a slow start like they did against Magic. Blazers are going to be motivated after that loss on Friday

If the Rockets can keep up this intensity on a consistent basis and come out and take it to Portland, I'll be convinced that they've leaped into the championship contender conversation. I haven't been this excited in a very very long time.

Either that, or coming back from 30 only to lose right at the end might be deflating.

They still don't have anyone to guard Howard so if we can get him going, we will be in great shape. And if Rockets Killer Batum misses tonight's, game that's definitely a plus because the Blazers bench isn't great as it is.
