I was traveling during the game, no wi fi, but I am so proud. I was shocked when I read the score this morning. The Rockets are "jelling." Scary. So glad Lin is back. Parsons didn't even have his usual great game. Wow.

Parsons actually played well but just did not show on the stats. Curling action on top got the pacers defense scrambling and got us points. In addition, he had the task of guarding Lance who was nearly invisible all throughout the game.

I know that we are all celebrating all these great offensive plays. I was more impressed with our defense where most of the Pacers shots were highly contested. Would be nice if somebody can make a video of that. It was almost like we knew exactly what the pacers were gonna do even before they called the play.

If coach does not rest the starters for the last few games, maybe. Fairly common to rest the players once a particular seed is secured.

Pacers fans blaming Luis Scola for their troubles? That's pathetic.

Not sure whether Houston is going to rest players late this season if the #1/2 seed are within reach. It's not like they're going to be the #7 or #8 seed and trying to avoid the Spurs/OKC in the first round.

HCA in the 2nd round would be pretty big.

Of course, there's always the possibility they rest players late in the season in an attempt to manipulate 1st round match ups...

It's hard to tell at the moment. At the beginning of the season, Morey mentioned that the goal was to get home court for the first round. The question that needs to be asked for the last 5 games is, do we rest and not risk injury or is it really that important to us to get the highest seed possible?

IMHO, home court advantage is overrated. All it takes is to win ONE road game and you take away that advantage.

I saw that too, they are mad about losing Green, Plumlee, and a 1st rounder. What they don't understand is the problem is their offense.

LOL. Every team has their scapegoat whether it's fair or not. You should know from being on these boards.

They beat Portland tomorrow, and they've all but clinched home court in Round 1 given the Rockets and Blazers' respective remaining schedules. The real goal should be home court in as many rounds as possible. Catching the Spurs or Thunder is still a long shot, but not impossible. Especially if they make it through this hell stretch with no more than 1 loss.

    Never liked Texas' cowboy image.
Wonder what James thought of it before playing here.
Wonder what James' friends think about him wearing it.

Harden has a very high and unusual fashion sense, they most likely wouldn't be surprised because it's close to normal as he ever looks.

    Rockets had 26 assists / 12 turnovers

We're unstoppable with those kinda numbers

Home teams win around 80% of game 7s.

Teams up 2-0 win 80% of series

Somehow the Rockets managed to defy these odds twice in 2 seasons.
