I also forgot to mention that Malaysian Airlines is primarily government owned, which is another caution point - compounded by the fact that it is a Muslim (although peaceful) country.

Sorry to hear it, hope you track him down for piece of mind.

This is weird. Seems they have no idea where it is still.

Flying used to never bother me, but I've developed somewhat a fear just in the past few years. The timing of it lines up with right after my wife got pregnant. Just the slightest bit of turbulence now has me gripping the armrests and scared ****less. I used to actually enjoy flying, but now I absolutely hate it.

Big baby. I'm typing this somewhere over Illinois right now. :p

With that said. Two oil slicks spotted, which are consistent to what would be formed from two winged fuel tanks.

I'm furious right now, 2014 and we still have giant commercial planes crashing into the ocean. Pathetic on both the pilot and engineers, R.I.P to those that lost their lives to this.

So quick to blame pilots and engineers, and not maintenance(government owned airlines), weather, terrorism, act of God, anything else?

Yes, "good job" by VanityHalfBlack to blame the pilots and engineers when we have no idea what happened. If it was a bomb or something else out of the control of the pilot, how do you blame the pilot? Ridiculous.

An Italian national who got his passport stolen last year in Thailand, his name was on the flight list but was not on that flight. He is alive and just spoke to his father....stay tune people, aircraft does not just vanish out of the thin air!

Saw this. The conspiracy theories have already started. Let's see where it all goes.
