maybe it has been hsi back all along? tonight, even if he didnt score, his decisions were much more smooth, quicker, and he moved faster too. which i noticed right away

Lin seems determined to play through his back issues and was not going to call attention to it in the media. I don't think he spoke to the media at all during these last 3 weeks or so. It is the tougher road physically and mentally, but I think if he is able to get through it he and the team will be better off.
This shot is exactly the type of shot he was taking and making prior to the all star break. He has hit a lot of step back jumpers in the 12 to 20 feet range this season. It's very effective for his style of play because he's basically un-guardable when he makes that shot, but it is not the shot that the Houston coaching staff or Morey favor. It was nice to see him take that shot without hesitation. He has to do more of that even if it messes up Morey's metric models.
Lin definitely looked good tonight. And this is exactly what we need him to do is destroy the second units he'll be going against. Hope he keeps it up
Lin was great! Attacking the rim, not doing his usual dumb bullcrap. I would love it if this thread turned into a "Lin broke out of his slump" thread.
Jeremy looked much better in this game. The biggest things for me were: 1) He didn't jump up in the air with nowhere to go. 2) He didn't pick up his dribble in the paint.
Again, he was good tonight. I seriously still don't know why he played like utter crap. Idk what kind of back injury could've induced that level of **** on the floor. That was just terrible. But if he turns it around then it's good for the team. His fans still suck though.
The last few games he sucked mostly because of bad decisions that led to turnovers. I don't see how back spasms make you make bad decisions lol
