His pocket presence is better than most NFL qbs at his stage ( I guess that is alright)

His accuracy all the way up to 30 yards is pretty darn impressibe, especially when considering the talent around him and offense that he is running

His touch is top notch (has too much touch at times)

His arm is in the upper tier of this class

Drafting Clowney would put O'Brien on the hot seat out the gate if McNair believes this team has the capability of having a quick turnaround...

That same song and dance has been played with:

    Montana
    Brady
    Brees
    Young

    May I go on?

You're naive about his pocket presence, but you're a fan, so it's expected.

Considering the talent he went up against, it's less "impressible" because it's not like he was having to hit small windows.

    If you say so.

Even if that were the case, it's nowhere near as strong as Carr's. Carr's arm is the upper tier of this class.

McNair has stated multiple times he thinks this team has the talent for a quick turn around. Google is your friend.

The talent is there, this is the same team that won 12 games in 2012 and many thought was an AFC favorite going into last season.

Montana struggled with injury his entire career

Brady is much bigger than Bridgewater

Young struggled with injury his entire career

There's really not much point arguing with that guy. Anyone who thinks drafting a #3 WR in this class is the right move for the top pick isn't anyone you should worry about.

You seem to think that I haven't watched them....I was originally on the Bridgewater bandwagon before I watched enough of his tape to realize he wasn't anything special.

Montana has 4 superbowls and a HOF career

Young has a superbowl win as a starter and a HOF career

Funny how Bridgewater has the pocket presence, accuracy, touch and football IQ similar to Montana. Funny how the guy has "Guts" and "IT"

    Don't over think it...

Young is the only one of those guys drafted in the 1st round and he was a bust for the team that drafted him.

If you have't realized already, you don't have to be 6'5 and throw a football across mountains to win in the NFL

The only bust that he has is the one in Canton

The Bucs were a horrendous team and Young was arguable their best player during those times

McNair also believed we didn't need Manning because we had Schaub... He also believed David Carr could be "fixed" by Kubiak. Just because McNair believes it should be a quick turnaround doesn't mean he's right.

Naw Young was a joke in Tampa. That's why he couldn't get another starting gig.
