Quick question. My friend has an extra ticket to Open Court tonight and she invited me. What exactly do you do at Open Court? Just watch the Rockets/Magic game tonight?
Asking the person who has the tix seems the most obvious choice. But yeah, it's basically just a viewing party where they will make $$ off concessions. Tour of the locker room is the only thing that sounds interesting, but I'm not sure I'm interested enough to go. Here's the text from the invite: Join us as we open Toyota Center exclusively for ticket holders to watch the Rockets take on the Magic in Orlando on the center-hung scoreboard. Activities will include: Clinics on the Main Court with a Rockets legend Tours of the NEW locker room and basketball complex Rockets at Magic road game on the center-hung scoreboard Appearance by Clutch and the Rockets Power Dancers Face painters, caricature artists, raffle items & more
I think I'm gonna skip this. If anybody wants the tix and has Flashseats, you can have them. First come.
Sry, misread. But to the op, go to the damn thing, won't hurt and you'll have a good time with your friend.
Hakeem was there. Mario Elie was there. Robert Horry was there. Tracy Mcgrady was there. I was waiting in line to see the locker room. I was cut off at the velvet rope. (Like all the time) I had my hand on the end of the velvet rope and some dude slapped my hand off of that and said get your hand off that! He turned around flashed a smile! It was Will Smith! Tracy Mcgrady had the largest following there. People were snapping photos left and right. They had the game on the screen and the court out there. I shot around. It was fun. Plus, Rockets won.
Rockets.com image gallery of the event. Did anyone that toured the locker room get a good look at the stats above the players' lockers? I'd like to see how the Rockets organization is defining each players' "Good Play %" and whatnot.
