Oh, I see what RV6 is saying now, i think haha

as long as each macro was at a sufficient level, it would absolutely not affect body composition, what he's saying is basically the difference between lean gains and 'dirty' bulking, I think.

Now if you weren't getting enough carbs to begin with, say high protein, really low carbs, high fat, and you cut 500 cals worth of carbs and subsequently you have really, really low energy levels, that's a bit different.

    Getting back on my grind.

Will drop to 195 lbs (lose 10 lbs) by March 15th.

Swimming, lower fat diet, and cease eating then sleeping. Swimming is great for losing weight. Plus, I've had turf toe since last summer, so can't really run or jump.

Minor lifting wokouts for toning will go down after that.

Counting calories is silly and it's old, outdated science. Intermittent fasting with a feeding window of about 1pm to 8pm is ideal. Eat as much high quality fats and protein in that window along with some decent carbs (no grains no sugar), fast the rest of the time and you'll be way ahead of the game.

    Why no grains?

If its a 100% whole grains, with no additives, what would the problem be?

No excuses. I was still gonna go do the workouts but it's just gonna be harder. I especially hate doing lunges...

Anywho, what's the correct technique for dead lift?

You're supposed to use your legs and your back right?

My favorite resources for weightlifting are Reddit.com/fitness & bodybuilding.com.

Reddit.com/fitness is much like clutchfans where questions are submitted and advice is given from an audience. To me it is much the same way as Clutchfans... your average Joe asking a question to people with possible experience or expertise.

Bodybuilding.com is a forum, but has an exercise library section which gives detailed info on almost any exercise.

Whenever I'm designing a program or workout, I like to sift through both of those for information or tips. Reddit is especially great at providing other sources of information that has helped folks.

just lift through your hips, don't consciously try to use your back or legs. It's considered a good overall body work out, but primarily, it's the hip and hamstrings working.

Watch videos of form, when you do it have someone spot you for form. Deadlift is an amazing lift but so easy to have bad form on.

It may not be outdated, but it doesn't work. It's the biggest scam/myth we've ever been told. My life changed once I learned this. From the Amazon reviews of this book: "Popular Fitness Researcher Dispels the Myths Behind the Lies That Keep Us Fat and Sick"

Grains, specifically gluten is inflammatory. It makes you fat, sick and foggy headed. We were force fed the "100% whole grain" heart healthy crap diet for the past 20 years and everyone is still fat and sick that should tell you something. Do a bit of research on your own and don't listen to outdated mainstream advice and you'll get it.

I'm 37, I've tried every diet out there, I've been into bodybuilding since I was 16, crossfit, nutrition. I've seen it all and tried it all and this is the diet I currently follow and will follow for the rest of my life. I have all of my family on it, my wife, and all of my friends who will listen to me and it works for all of us so it's not just me.

    No grains, bro.

    Research Proving this Diet Works

Man, I've been trying so hard to lose my gut for the last month.. no progress it seems like.. I've been eating healthier and even working out on it. How long does it take to see the progress?

    1. You see yourself everyday so you won't notice gradual changes.

    2. No one can tell you how quickly you'll progress b/c no one knows your exact diet nor your exercise regimen.
