I meant boosting as far as quarterback rankings go. And if Marcus and CJ hadn't of went back to school this quarterback conversation would be A LOT different.

Thats exactly what is needed to be a top 3 qb in the league.

You must be a coach on the field

Mariota would be behind Bridgewater (especially with that horrendous pocket presence) CJ???

Well his small frame isn't the only problem he has though. He struggles with accuracy on intermediate to deep routes, he has a "punch" style throwing motion, and he's shorter than you'd like a QB to be especially one that is prone to throwing sidearm dropping that release point even lower.

Percells didn't have to say that Bridgewater was intelligent, I think everyone with a fully functioning brain realized that Bridgewater is a really smart kid, in fact it's by far the best thing about him. The problem is that he doesn't seem to have the body to put that brain to work properly and I don't know how well his mellow, reserved nature will play in NFL locker rooms when he's supposed to be the leader.

I think he could end up coaching down the line like Kubiak did.

Yup, if only he had everything else, unfortunately he doesn't. He's probably a beast at Madden though.

Actually his intermediate accuracy is very good

And there has already been a discussion why his deep accuracy is off

"Punch"style motion??? We will see come pro days

Only thing is that he does have everything else

    Except 6'4 240 lb frame

and a cannon for an arm (which could change by pro day)

    http://www.waitingfornextyear.com/2014/03/nfl-news-mock-draft-mchsay-espn-manziel-browns/

"The mantra for the Browns is the same as for the Jaguars: take the best available QB. They’ll be pulling hard for Clowney and Robinson to be among the top three picks so they have some choices here, but in this scenario the only guy among our first round-worthy QBs is Manziel. I don’t know if he’s an ideal fit or if he’d be the Browns’ first choice, but I’m not worried about his size or arm strength as it relates to playing in cold weather. If I had to rank the top three QBs in terms of arm strength, I’d go Bridgewater, Manziel and Bortles, without much difference among the three. And Manziel’s 9 7/8-inch hands are plenty big enough to grip the ball in cold weather."

Yes, he has a punching style motion which could explain why he his accuracy can come and go during the course of a game. I don't doubt you haven't heard that because it's something critical of Bridgewater and you generally tune those kinds of things out.

I don't doubt that you've convinced yourself of that. Other than his small frame, his throwing motion, his footwork, his "aloof" personality, his arm strength, and his height, he's a perfect QB prospect.

Kubiak was a lifelong backup. He was drafted in the "8th" round. Stop reaching.

So now you're comparing Teddy to both Brady and Manning... Lol. Ok genius.

Funny that you bolded everything except "without much difference among the three"

And Teddy will probably be considered a draft bust who will struggle with injury for a few years before washing out of the league to start a coaching career, ESPECIALLY if the Jags draft him, not much difference.

Aaron Rodgers is 6'2, Brees is 6 foot tops, Russel Wilson is 5'11, Eli is 6'2(I could be mistaken).

at 6'2, Bridgewater's height is a non factor. His mechanics are sharp, but his arm strength is very good.

His intermediate accuracy was actually really good. I am confused where you are getting this information.

I think Louisville's offense has something to do with his deep ball accuracy if I am not mistaken. They run a ton of timing/combo routes.

I think Bobby is sleeping on Bridgewater's physical talent...

He has the strongest arm of the 3

He has the best pocket presence

He is the most accurate (probably in years)

Very intelligent, A great amount of football intelligence

Humble yet teammates gravitate around him

    Why do we complicate this?????

If we pass him up, Watt better get in Clowney's behind and make sure that boy brings it every down or Bridgewater will be a real problem at Jax

I wish I could edit. I get distracted from work and reread what I wrote after the fact. Ew.

His accuracy doesn't come and go, that release causes him to short arm his deep balls

    His footwork????? Are you serious?????

    Aloof personality????? Are you serious

Arm Strength????? He has the strongest out of the top three

    His height is negligible

practically 95% of all the big boards out there have Bridgewater as the #1 qb

    What are you saying then???

To Bobby's credit, he just isn't too fond of any of the QB prospects. His arm strength is good. But not "ELITE". I still don't think that matters.

Peyton Manning just had the best year from a QB stand point, yet has the weakest arm in the league.
