Is it coincidence that Lin's slump has gotten worse since the Brooks trade? I can't imagine why it would impact him negatively. If anything that should reassure him that the team has confidence in him. But it seems to have had the opposite effect. Again, assuming it's not just poor play due to injury. He did look a little quicker and more explosive tonight, athletically. But that last pass to Asik. Wide open layup Jeremy, take that shot all day.
Jeremy "I like to pass to James Harden" Lin is just getting worst and worst every game. Maybe it has to do with not getting use to playing with clumsy ass Asik who can't even catch the ball for his life. And the stiff looking "i rush wide open hook shot" Dmo with his slow mechanical feet have something to do with it.
Again, let Lin play through this. Rockets are still winning, and he has proven himself to be a valuable asset. At the very least, this will give him plenty of tape for him and the coaches to review in terms of his miscues.
Lin has to be nursing some kind of injury or illness; Lin simply has no burst or energy out there. He is playing like a 41-year old virgin with mononucleosis who's on quaaludes. That, or Lin is the weakest-minded individual in the NBA.
It's too late for that. Besides, it's sports. There's going to be trash talk. If you want pure civility go do yoga. When a mass group trolls and trashes your team, you stand up. That's the way it's always been, and will be. Lin isn't good enough to be on this roster. No crap talk, just reality. Bad signings always catch heat. They hinder a team. What kind of fan wants their team hindered in such fashion?
Why? I'd much rather see what we have in Canaan. He's been atrocious lately. If he's hurt, then he needs to sit down anyways. There's already plenty of tape on Lin. We know what we have there
But no one cares what you think. Lin will play, he is an integral part of our team struggling or not. Mchale loves Jeremy and he will work to get him out of the slump not bench him for a ****ing rookie. Please someone end this thread its infuriating as a rockets fan for us to be openly bashing on one of our players. Jeremy is a hardworking kid and i respect what he and Beverly bring to the table. I'm surprised clutch hasn't locked a thread that does not add anything constructive to this forum. It's just a D&D thread in the GARM. And honestly i feel threads like this are ruining the quality of this forum.
I was at the game and I think he's playing hurt. They put a heating pack on his back and he got on the bike and was riding it during the game. If he wasn't hurt I think he would be fine. It also didn't help when that opposing player fell on his back. They should let Lin sit and play Cannon instead.
Apparently you do. You just melted down in a pathetic rant on an internet forum. Walk it off chump...champ. I mean champ.
I actually did not melt down, just shared my thoughts on the matter. But carry on bashing a rocket, i'm sure you add intelligence to a discussion.
No, you melted down. At least own it little fella'. It's ok. Just take a brisk walk and step away from the computer. I don't recall you making these spirited arguements in defense of the other numerous Rockets that have been bashed on this site. I get it though. Your precious Jeremy Lin isn't living up to expectations and you need to vent because he can't deliver on the court. It's cute really. You guys are hilarious.
Dude, look at the join date. You may not agree with him but to wave the LOF card is a weak argument. Lin is injured and playing through it for the team. He probably knows it screws up his stats but he is still trying to contribute. McHale obviously doesn't have a choice but to play him. To throw Canaan in at this stage of the season is akin to throwing sheep to the wolves. And last I checked he was a positive while on the court today.
LOL no. Rafer is the worst point guard I have ever seen. Nothing worse than a player who can't shoot but just kept chucking shots left and right. Not to mention that horrendous tear drop.
Rafer had a great assist to turnover ratio, played solid defense, and could pass the hell out of the ball. His 3 point shot came and went, but he always came to play and busted his ass. He competed EVERY game. He didn't need to score to impact the game.
