    Didn't even know DS2 was coming out next week, till I saw a thread on NG. Definitely going with this, too bad it's not on next gen systems :(

    Yeah, a pretty big deal. Some sources have said she was forced out by Neil Druckmann and Bruce Straley (who worked on U2 and TLOU). Hope that isn't true. Seems pretty horrible of them and against the image Naughty Dog usually puts out.

    Double post for Japanese PS4 sales update...

    Famitsu has PS4 as selling ~52K for the last week. This differs a bit from the other sales tracker in Japan (Media Create), though both seem to agree that PS4 has sold a bit over 370K (as Sony reported). PS4 is supply constrained in Japan...for now.

    Revisiting the Titanfall exclusivity:

    He thinks TF2 will be on PS4/XBO, and that TF1 might be the last major exclusive of the cycle. EA apparently thought Microsoft was going to wipe the floor with Sony (and hence, why they were OK with going exclusive).

    Just like mass effect was in 360 first . Or street fighter on sines, then it went to the genesis.
    Note the genesis had new 6 button controllers properly aligned with the punches on top and kicks on button.

    Had some Newb back then tell me he could beat me with snes pad vs arcade stick.

    Wrong.

    There is no assurance that TF2 will be on the PS4. MS could throw a boatload of money at EA/ReSpawn for TF2. It has happened before.

    I myself prefer to see console makers spend their money on 1st party games and improve their hardware and services rather than to pay 3rd party company to stop a game from being released on another platform for a period of time.

    Anyways here is a updated list of free games on PSN Plus and xbox live:

    PS4: Dead Nation™: Apocalypse Edition, Resogun, Contrast
    PS3: Tomb Raider, BioShock Infinite, Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception™, Borderlands™ 2, XCOM: Enemy Unknown, Remember Me™, LittleBigPlanet™ Karting, Hawx 2, Limbo and etc
    PS Vita: STREET FIGHTER X TEKKEN, Modnation Racer, Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Soul Sacrifice, Princess Arthur and etc

    That's not even listing half of them. On Vita I have Smart As, Sonic Racing Transformed, Hotline Miami, Urban Trials, Star Wars Zen Pinball 2(which was cross buy, so I have it on PS4 for free as well), and some others I can't even remember. All for free.

    On PS4 I also got Outlast and Don't Starve.

    Rumors lately are that PS+ will be getting AAA titles this year. I have no reason to believe otherwise based on their PS3 titles.

    Um....one example is Gears of War. Epic own that IP. MS paid money to keep it on Xbox 360. Then, they bought the IP.

    Gears 1,2, and 3 each sold more that 6 million copies. So....many have a soft spot for Marcus.

    Shhh.....they ignore the fact those XBOX exclusives that no one cares about sold a ton of copies. In fact all Xbox exclusives combined OUTSOLD Sony exclusives combined.

    Although I don't like to use the site, VG Chartz is in the "ballpark".

    Where exactly are you going with this?

    I asked you to list some examples of MS paying the big bucks to keep some games exclusive. You came up with the Gears series, which I said fine.

    You got any examples of MS paying the big bucks of keeping quality games to the Xbox platform? I'm waiting for your Forza and Halo examples....and....well, that's about it I'd imagine?

    Also please don't bring up sale numbers for games. Unless youre trying to tell us GTA and CoD are your absolute favorites.

    He said nobody cares for Gears of War. Sales numbers say otherwise. One example is all that is need to prove it does happen. Im sure Sony paid to keep the Metal Gear series and the Uncharted series on the PS3. I think the reason you see Metal Gear moving cross platform is Sony wouldn't pony up enough money to keep it exclusive (no proof...theory). It happens. You don't think Naughty Dog likes money too? Microsoft has a ton of it. However, I think Naughty Dog is too important to Sony and so they probably gave ND a lot of money to stay one platform.
