That last turnover was just ridiculous. Like, a month ago that would have been an easy layup. And he tries the wraparound pass to Asik? Stone hands Asik? This is getting ridiculous. I love you Lin, but you need to get your **** together.
Hell no man. Even though Lin is having easily the worst month of his career post Linsanity, you've still gotta let the known quantity play through this. Canaan is still unproven. If this was early in the season you might have a case, but Lin has proven he can play well. Gotta keep riding it until something gives, especially down the stretch. Just be thankful Beverley is playing like a beast.
Seriously, I don't know how Lin's mind works, but his issues can be easily be addressed easily with some common sense as I have advised in previous post. He over analysis, and when he makes a mistake and misses a shot, he really goes into his shell. He really has some mental demons he has to conquer
nobody really understands back injuries until they've experienced one. They're absolutely crippling but if it's throwing his game off this much he should rest up and get healthy. He looks like a ghost out there.
I've been an advocate for Lin most of the season. I actually thought he was playing better than Beverly to start the season. But enough is enough. I don't know if he is injured or his game has just regressed but I don't care. It's time to take a look at Canaan. Sit Lin let him heal if his back is that bad. Maybe the rest will help him return to some semblance of his Linsanity days. When Lin started the season every facet of his game was better. H's lost it and regressed. Right now he is not playing at an NBA level. He can't hit anything, he makes to many uncontested errors and he just doesn't do much positive. Let him rest maybe he will be ready for the playoffs. We need a good backup PG. Thank God for Beverly.
Lin is worse than Rafer ever was. I can't believe what I'm watching here. To think that people thought he should be our closer instead of Harden. They are not even on the same stratosphere. $8 million for this crap. For the love of god, please trade him in the offseason. I can't handle another year of this...
A wrap around pass isn't simple man. It comes at you fast. Asik probably thought Lin was going to lay it up like he should have.
Lin should just sit out for a couple games. The team obviously doesn't need him to win right now. Get healthy and clear your head up and come back and play like you used to. He's not doing anyone any favors right now
Or maybe he just doesn't want to get fouled hard without a whistle, like the refs usually do. There's only so much physical contact an injured player can take.
At this point in time, its obvious enough the Lin is slumping bad. But the hate that gets thrown around here is worse than staring at his slump. Its not even cool that some of his supporters try to throw other team players under a bus to make him look better. That being said, after scrolling through this thread, its quite evident that this is how some people would like to be treated when they go into a slump. Its called "what you think is who you are" and karma does go round. If reading this offends you in anyway, quit being sensitive, i'm not talking about you.
hahaha Lin could literally go 0-20, turn the ball over 15 times, and there would still be people here blaming others for his craptastic performance. If it's not Harden, it's McHale. Or it's the Refs. Maybe next it'll be Keith Jones' fault that his back is hurt.
What's up with sensitivity crap? He's getting paid 8 million a year. If you got paid that much you're employer has high expectations. If you are on a championship caliber team expectations are that much higher.
Bro. I get you. Lin gets hacked a lot without any fouls. But goddang THAT WAS A TEXTBOOK LIN FLOATER/LAYUP. He makes those ALL THE TIME. Why does he gotta wrap it around to Asik who clearly wasn't expecting it?
Canaan actually looked composed/confident during that 1 minute, made a good pass too. If we lose a couple of games with him in there I think its worth the investment for him being sort of seasoned come playoff time. Lin is not the horse we want to bet on.
