I have been in Orlando since October and yes they hate us and the Lakers about evenly. I walked out of a petsmart wearing a Rox shirt and had this college age kid give me the ugliest look, I just smiled. Most Magic fans I've talked to loved the '95 team more than the '09 one. Animosity toward D12 is from him not wanting to stay although team would have left Orlando had he not helped keep them there. The mixed reaction from fans shows that time will heal these wounds but they will continue to hate the Rox and Lakers. The city was hyped about the Orlando City Lions being promoted to MLS along with new stadium, they consider the TB Bucs, Lightning and Rays apart of the central Florida teams all together (although I've seen Miami gear around a lot). So to them it's "like" they have all 5 sports now, it's an easy drive to get to Tampa. Why Orlando has zero shot at getting an NFL/MLB/NHL team and TB has no shot at NBA or now MLS. Area is pretty awesome though, I keep hearing it's cold, I wouldn't know bout all that cause it's been warm all winter here
