Seems like it's too soon... It's a classy move by the Magic though. I can't imagine the fans are going to be receptive though. http://www.orlandopinstripedpost.co...rlando-magic-25th-anniversary-houston-rockets
they should give out these!!! Spoiler All kidding aside he deserves to be honored by them... i just figured maybe after he retired not now.
maybe it's too soon but it's for the team 25th season, they make this kind of tribute to all their ex players that come to town, so they cant do it next year ^^ btw i laughed at an article about the way they honored their 'legends" like penny and mcgrady ... -> they got Nick Anderson as one of their legend  almost 20 years later i still cant believe he missed those 4 free throws
I would imagine if there ever was a fan base that truly hated all things Rockets, it would be the Magic. Not only did the Rockets dominate them in the Finals, but then we got T-Mac in his prime, then we eventually ended up with their superstar center.
They probably hate the Lakers more. It's very easy to hate the Lakers, this is like saying thank you to Dwight for screwing the Lakers.
In that case we need to do a "Thank you Dwight" video right now for not only making the Rockets better, but the Lakers worse.

I think it be a different story if Yao never got injured and we beat them in 2009 or if Orlando was a really big sports city like Boston or NY.
lmfao I'm sorry I didn't know that was an accomplishment... I would rather be remembered as the Eastern Conference champs than for them to point out I won one game in the Finals!
Yeah, Dwight's a main reason why they a) went to the Finals b) actually won a game in the Finals and MOST IMPORTANTLY c) kept the Magic in the city of Orlando. Seriously, I remember serious talk before Dwight came alone about moving to another city. The fans in that city literally are in debt to Dwight for the entire organization
Imagine if Yao and Deke didn't go down in 2009, the Rockets could have swept Orlando in the Finals again.
