Funny how after the final buzzer, they cut to the NBATV studio commentary crew, and the announcer (Ernie Johnson), immediately says, 'So the Rockets es-cape with the win'...
LOL @ 1:26 -- Hamilton was so juiced up over his buzzer-beater, bench had to remind him to get back on defense.
It was good to win. But I cant help consider the following: 1) B2B for the Heat 2) We were at home 3) Lebron lets that 3 fly 1/10 of a second earlier and its a tie at regulation 4) Their bench out performed ours While we won, I cant say we are the better team as a result. If we beat them in Miami, that will say much more. In particular though, our bench being exposed a team weakness needs addressing. Our playoff success depends on it.
Our bench really just needs Lin and Hamilton to play up to their season averages and we should be fine, especially if we get anything from Asik, Casspi and DMo.
At the game, they played a clip put together by the Rockets graphics people of Superman II where they spliced Dwight's head on to Supes and the Big 3's heads on to the evil Kryptonians during the fight at the Fortress of Solitude. It was really neat, and the best part was when Lois Lane punched out Bosh. lol
Any day that we can beat the Heat, Clips, OKC, Spurs, - is a good day. If you think about the Heat's record this season, dealing them a loss is good news.
