Laptop and PC yes, i've not had much success on either my Ipad or Samsung Note 2 though im supposed to be able to. Keep getting the Operation Could Not Be Completed message. Otherwise a fantastic service.
So I stayed off my phone/internet so I could watch the game on Ballstreams once I got to work.... All things were good until 2 minutes left in the game when whomever was broadcasting the stream apparently didn't realize they were DVR'ing 3 shows and the game randomly switched to a tattoo show on the Oxygen Channel for the remaining few minutes lol. Luckily Jeremy made sure the rockets were going to lose far before this incident occurred so I didn't miss anything.
i switched from directv to comcast and i hate hate hate it. im going to cancel and go back to directv. that is unless comcast gives me x1 and transfers over my landline. dor some reasson they cant figure it out.
Tonight's game against the Heat was the worst I have ever seen through ballstreams. Basically unwatchable, because it would play for maybe 5 seconds and then stop and buffer for 30. The WHOLE FREAKING GAME. Get your &^@$%^&^&@^&$%@ing *&^@%*^&@%^&$@% together ballstreams!!
Freezed a crap load for me. I missed the last possession for Miami. Had no idea if we won or not, lol.
I too was having crappy streams for almost a week. Would skip every 5 seconds, even sometimes miss an entire play, I was so mad. But then I figured it out myself what the problem was. 1. Make sure after going to ballstreams.com that it's www5.ballstreams.com and not www4.ballstreams.com. If you're directed to www5, just manually delete the 5 and type 4 and click enter. 2. Now; after clicking on Central location feed, you'll see on the very bottom right corner of the screen "Details" and it'll say CTNL5 or CTNL 6 or CTNL 4 or CTNL3. Those are basically the servers of them streaming the central feed I think. 3. You want to be on CTNL3 or CTNL4 (Central if you're in Houston) and the number next to it should be 3 or 4 and your ballstreams should be back to normal with no lag (it worked for me and I had absolutely no lags or skips or missing any plays today vs Heat and the last Detroit game when I figured this out. 4. How to get on CTNL3 or CTNL4? Refresh the page until you see CTNL3 or CTNL4 on the bottom right, and then you'll be good. I hope this helps yall, I should have let ya'll know about this during the Detroit game when I figured this out, but I totally forgot about this thread! My apologies homies!
Watching it with my Roku I was having the same loading problems Nero described. So I changed the server location from North American - Central to North American - East and if was perfect. And I live in Houston.
I switched to 3 different feeds during the game and it would cut out regularly. I cant remember watching a rockets game start to finish without having issues. Non rocket games do not seem to have the same problem for me.
