Wow Mchale isn't that bad of a coach and Jeremy Lin actually sucks?.... no way.... The sun shines on a dogs ass once in a while and it did for a week or so in NY. That definitely doesn't justify his contract and the annoyingly large fan base. Stop with the excuses Lin fans. STOP BLAMING Mchale, Harden, Dwight, Beverly, the entire Rockets organization and the city of Houston for Lin's short comings. He's had his chance to prove himself and again the only thing he has proven is that he is a pile heap of excuses. I am guessing his excuse this playoffs will be "his back" like last years "bruises" that kept him out. Let Canaan get some playing time because hopefully next season if we are lucky someone will find pity on us and take Lin off our hands.
What makes you think he does not have their support?? Given Lin's performance since the ASG, Rockets coaches and the management should be commended for giving Lin the opportunities that they have for him to break out of his slump. They have been very patient with him. It's clear that they are trying to help him break out of his slump but at the same time managing his minutes so that they dont lose games because of Lin's horrendous play. This team is in the hunt after all. Everything does not revolve around Jeremy.
Lin does have support from his teammates and coaches. The fact that he is still playing 15-20 minutes a game despite playing so poorly means the coaches are giving him as much time on the court as possible and giving him as long a leash as they possibly can before taking him out. Also, what's the point of coddling Lin? Things don't always go his way on the court and it would be senseless to design the gameplay around Lin just so he could play better.

Am I seriously having to explain this to you guys? Do you know how tough the road to the NBA is? Its pointless for me to try to prove something so obvious, but let me ask you this, how many other 25 year old NBA players are you also making that same excuse for? Its not just food for thought when it comes to basketball...ITS A FACT OF LIFE. You do what it takes to survive. You do what it takes to win. There are no excuses at the end of the day. I had to learn that the hard way early on and worked my ass off to do things like be the top of my class. There is no way that would have happened for me or anybody else if I got babied or made excuses.

Side not, just finished season 2 yesterday. Feng was awesome, felt bad for him, but Frank did what he had to do at the end of the day. I'm sure Mr. Underwood was babied to bring out that winner's mentality. (I know I am using a completely fictional show but you can find real world examples as well...for anybody that is successful for that matter.).
