I'm not the biggest Love fan but Rocket fans come off as silly citing Parsons as a deal breaker. Love is putting up Durant/LeBron numbers. I am as dubious as the next guy on translating to major winning but give me Harden, Howard and Love and I'll figure out the rest. Parsons? Really?
This "scrub" is a great guy and very knowledgeable. One of the easiest team reporters to talk to. He answers almost every email and text.
I refuse to believe it until it actually happens. Btw, the Wolves are red hot right now, Kevin Martin and Pecko are back, and are hitting a ridiculously soft spot in the schedule. 8th seed is not that far fetched I don't think. Let me pose this question, if the Wolves make the playoffs does Love give Minny a chance?
They're not gonna make the playoffs though unless one of the teams they're chasing falters. Right now the Suns, Mavs, and Warriors are doing just enough to maintain their playoff spots. And Minnesota still has to pass Memphis in the standings just to reach 9th place.
1) They ain't making the playoffs 2) Even if they do, a 4 game sweep to the Thunder won't be changing his mind
They won't make the playoffs and, no, Love wouldn't give them a real chance against OKC or the Spurs. T-Wolves just aren't talented enough. They are just spinning their wheels for nothing.
This is the perfect time for the Wolves to gain on the Suns. Suns next 3 games: vs OKC @GS @LAC Mins next 6: vs NY, vs DET, vs TOR, vs MIL, @CHA, vs SAC
Maybe not. But thats why we watch sports, to see the unexpected. And I'm still not that sold on the Kevin Love rumors. Thats what they are, rumors. Until something actually happens or he actually says something they will remain rumors.
Maybe, but they're still 4 back in the loss column against Phoenix. And remember, they have to pass both the Suns and Memphis in order to make the playoffs. Plus, their schedule after the stretch you listed is brutal.
The Suns are not your target. Finishing in front of them will get you the 9th seed. Your real targets are Memphis and Dallas.
Keep watching then. Have fun. You can refuse to believe whatever you like regarding Love. Fine with me. Prepare to be wrong. Kahn was an idiot for not giving him the 5th year. Enjoy him while you can.
Would you know why he didn't give Love the 5th year? I'm still wondering why Kahn only gave him 4 years
The issue isn't whether Love will leave, it is how long until he leaves. Will he leave as a free agent or force a trade.
bad choice of words by me i guess. it was more of a statement that JR follows absolutely everyone, not trying to rip on the exact individual
if he forces a trade to a team he likes then he may guarantee to not become a FA this year as part of the deal.
I can understand being hesitant to give up Parsons in that rumored Rajon Rondo deal, but anyone reluctant to give him up for Love should stop pretending they want what's best for the Rockets.
