Umm, obviously you didn't watch it if you think the portrayal was a cute quirk. I suppose knocking one's mother to the floor is quirky behavior, eh? Or almost killing someone, too. Yeah, kinda cute, huh?
I liked SLP, even if Cooper's portrayal of a manic depressive was a little uneven. It was just the movie where everyone realized how much they wanted to plow Jennifer Lawrence.
Didn't see the flick, but the lady must have been damn good to beat out Jennifer Lawrence in American Hustle.
Perhaps, but her performance was definitely Oscar worthy. Have to say I didn't care for her pre-Oscar appearance on The Daily Show. She was a bit b****y to Stewart. Made fun of his age, and Jon is just a kid.
Tend to agree. She's hilarious though, great personality. I, too, didn't get all the fawning praise for American Hustle. It was a good movie no doubt, but outside of the music, clothing, and Renner I can't pick out any outstanding component. Maybe I need to watch it again. And seriously, how interesting is/was ABSCAM? It ain't Goodfellas and Lufthansa.
