Tinder success rate...?

I''m ashamed to admit, but I use tinder. Mostly because I'm bored (tinder's really more off a vanity/judging people thing, not really about hooking up).

I had three matches, one of whom messaged me, but I'm sure she was a dude or something because there were 3 pictures of her that all looked very different and she talked like a computer. Weird stuff.

Sometimes there are thoughts that should be kept private.

 

I use it and get matches every now and then. But really, the use for this app is to inflate people ego's by letting them know that they are wanted. I would say it's rare on the success rate people actually go out on dates and eventually hook up. b****es love the attention.

 

It sucks when you GF is friends with half the people on the damn thing.

 

One of my friends is one of the founding fathers...that b*stard hit the jackpot.

 

You need good pictures. I'm a photographer and I guess it works cause I have 145 matches. Just get some clear photos of yourself in your best light.

Or move to a tech oriented place like San Francisco/Austin.

You should just approve everyone you possible can so you get on all potential phones. I had a few matches a day and started dating a girl I met there. It's way better then match or other sites. There is no bull**** essay that you have to write that doesn't represent what it's like to actually hang out with you. It's more like real life. See someone and decide you want to talk to them. Make sure your pics are flattering.

Just an FYI, sometimes it can take weeks to get a match response. The match is only triggered if they like you and you like them, so if they don't log in for a few weeks it can take some time.

 

This thread got me to reactivate my account, turned it off after starting to talk to someone, and I found the love of my life.

Now I need a courtesy swipe.

 

What in the heck are you guys talking about? From the title, I thought you were discussing an attempt to start a fire in the woods!
