Console Wars Thread! PS4 vs. Xbox One vs. Wii U Fight!

My impression was that at least 40% of PS4 systems do not work.

Nevermind, just checked the stats, that 40% refers to the number of systems that havent been turned on since launch because of the lack of games.

Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare is surprisingly fun. If you have an XB1 its definitely worth getting. My girlfriend and I and enjoy playing it together a lot.

 

It'll be out for PS4 and PC in a couple months.

 

Of course you'd laugh at that, you're like 5.

Anyone else feel like Xbox One is getting a little bit of momentum going?

Titanfall, a price drop, some good bundles coming out, software updates making the system better....it's not insignificant considering both systems haven't had much to write home about so far this year.

If I was PS4 I want to start announcing some exclusives soon. I'm not saying we will see a landslide of sales or anything, but I think over time these little things can add up.

 

It doesn't really matter. PS3 had a garbage launch and still got most of 360's early "exclusives" in the end and also had the more memorable and unique library.

MS has proved itself to not care about video games other than Halo time and time again.

You're right, I can clearly see that you never said anything remotely similar to that.

 

Reality is so inconvenient when you're wrong. I much prefer living in my happy place where I can just make up whatever I want, blissfully go on believing I'm right all the time, and never apologize for making false/unsubstantiated statements. It's really the way to go.

I got the T-fall pre-order pack, any other games people would recommend ?

 

I don't own one, but when I do eventually buy an XB1, first thing I'm going to do is get Crimson Dragon. But then, I'm a Panzer Dragoon fan, and maybe that's just not your thing.

Still, if you pick it up, let me know how it is. I keep asking people on here, but no XB1 owner here seems to have it.

 

Haha, well I don't have much specifically to say. It was more of a "if someone wants to discuss game x's graphics, I'd play along." In the case of Forza, it is impressive in some ways, and very unimpressive in others. It isn't really one of the games I'd use for showing off next-gen IMO (KZ, Ryse, and a few others are better I think).

As for SDK updates, I was interested to know how he knew (or seemed to imply he knew) how often Sony updated this for developers. Of course, the number of updates by itself is hard to use as a metric. If the system was good at launch, there might not be much need for updates right away (for consumers or developers).
