The thing is though, I don't know if it actually achieves the goal of what they're trying to do. Sure, it's extra jersey revenue, but I don't think the Latino market is all of the sudden becoming a core NBA demographic because you put "Los" on the jerseys, nor do I think that there's going to be more latino players in the league 20 years simply because Lebron James wore an "El Heat" jersey for a game.
I don't think their goal is to make them a core NBA demographic or hope for more Latino players in the future. It's just a way to promote a special event and sell more tickets for those games. They make more money those nights and will pick up some casual fans here and there, which means more money later.
yeah people better expect sleeves coming to the rockets. i kind of like them. i dont like the initial versions, but i can the potential as designs get better. the sleeved jersey 1.0 is a little too boring.
To be honest, I have a lot more of a problem with the fact that the letters N and B are called "ene" and "be", not "éne" and "bé", though
