Honestly, what are you lot arguing about?

There is not a single product ever made that has a 0% failure rate.

Remember when Apple brought out an iPhone that didnt make calls when you held it a certain way? They sorted it. It didnt effect sales at all.

Both consoles will have a tiny failure rate. Get over it!

I'm well aware. But the argument long since stopped being about the failure rate. It's about the fact that Mr.Scarface made up faulty info about the PS4's failure rate to make it look worse than it actually is, and now refuses to admit it. If he got over his stubborn pride and admitted it, I'd be happy to drop it. As it is, I'm going to keep hammering him until he does admit his mistake, or at least gives up and begins ignoring me completely, thereby implicitly conceding the point. We all know he was wrong already, given that he's been unable to provide a shred of evidence. I'd just like to hear him actually say it.

    It's your cables.

Make sure your HDMI cables are 1.3 or 1.4.

Then again...it could be your TV or monitor. They have to be HDCP compliant. It's a copy protection feature.

Good God, again with the Titanfall. You know what's even better than 792p Titanfall in 10 days? 1080p Titanfall in 10 days with a mouse and keyboard. The graphics are much better. I know Infinity Ward does a piss poor job supporting PC, along with 2k. Origin games haven't been bad from my experience (GTA IV and Titanfall beta which are both made from companies owned by MS). But I think I'm gonna skip it because it got repetitve as ****. I played it long enough to judge it and decide if it was worth buying. My conclusion is it gets boring shooting at titans for 10 minutes straight. It had potential, but it the game was executed poorly. Valve did a better job with the physics and graphics in Half Life 2 and that was like 10 years ago.

And when did anyone say the Xbox wasn't a pretty good a gaming system. I think most who bought the PS4 just prefer the superior hardware and the price tag. It's hard to say no to that. I've already said the Xbox has some pretty cool features, but saying Xbox On is not worth more than $100 to me. I can just press the button on my controller and begin gaming in 1080p.

I've already updated my PS4 at least 2-3 times since mid-January when I bought it. It runs just fine. Why do I need to care about updates if there aren't any issues with my console? They've been fairly large updates too. Maybe Sony doesn't need to release small updates to make minor fixes. Why does Sony need to ship new kits to developers to get their games running in 1080p when they already run in 1080p?

And why do I need to worry about the financial situation of Sony? They're making a profit and they've been making a profit since 2012, that's all that matters. I don't care how many TVs they sell or not. I would be worried if it was last-gen. They're #1 focus is the gaming division now since they've restructured and dropped product lines. Plus, developers will not be easily bought out of Sony's market share. They currently hold a much larger next-gen player base whether you like it or not. That makes it cheaper and easier for them to start buy out next-gen exclusives (where all the focus is shifting to).

    Mr. Scarface making **** up.

JUST finished tech support from MS. They made me unplug my Xbox completely. I even unplugged my tv from the PowerPoint. Started it all back up and it's working again.

It's all the original cables that came with the console. A bit strange really. Only had the issue after the last update. Anyway it's working now. At least I know what to do if it happens again.

HMMM...yeah that error is something to do with the copy protection with HDMI. It usually shows up with non-compliant cables. Well....glad it's working.

Updates to add features have not happened. And yes, people are complaining about missing features that were on the PS3 (Just like XB1 users did about missing 360 features). Not every PS4 game is 1080p, so you can just "jump on". Hell, I can jump on and play 1080p games....2 of the 3 game I have for the XB1 are 1080p.

i did not own a ps3 so why should i care if i already have the features i want. i looked it up and i dont care to store music on my ps4. i prefer using my computer with pandora. i dont use custom blu ray discs so.....seriously why do you know all of this about the ps4 anyways.

these are the lamest arguments, i swear. updates to add features no one used on the last console.

also, both of my games are 1080p so yes, herp derp, i can.

No one uses? Just because you don't use something doesn't mean it goes unused.

Why do I know this? Because I may get a PS4 at some point (I owned a PS3) so I keep up with the current info.

I will wait til there is a game that interests me.

    Spec PC > PS4 > xbone.

If a game's requirement falls between PC and PS4, it is likely none of the console version will be 1080p/60fps.

If a game's requirement falls between PS4 and xbone, it is likely PS4 version would be 1080p/60fps while xbone version wont't.

If a game's requirement is below xbone, it is likely all versions will be 1080p/60fps.

If a game performs better on the xbone, it is likely the developer has screwed up.

I think lots of games like to focus on console versions and still wants to push things as far as possible, the result is xbone version being 720p/30fps.

In the future if more games target below xbone requirements, xbone will get more 1080p/60fps games.

    lol.

lol again. race car games dont count. they do not require a strong gpu to look polished because the car is constant and never changing (except for the spinning wheels). the map is just a blur.

dont you ever wonder why no other iphone/ipad games look as sweet as the racecar games. damn youre a noob son.

killer instinct has better graphics than forza and that is a 2d fighting game. i bet the next gran turismo makes forza look like ass. i dont even see any smoke in any of the images. the xbone cant even handle a simple 2d overlay on top of the 3d rendering.

Damn scarface, you and I both knew you were an idiot but it seems like everyone else knows now too. That sucks, your secret is out. (Let's be honest, I can't wait to see how you respond to this)

Holy crap! I view this thread last night, watch the Rockets game, continue my Game of Thrones marathon...and then I wake up to this!? Wow. Haha.

Funnily enough, when I read Mr.Scarface's original post, I didn't even think it stood out much more from the other things he's said in the past. But yeah, there are some posters who have problems providing sources to their claims (and admitting when they're wrong). I'd respond more to those posts (I'd love to talk about Forza's graphics, Sony's SDK updates, etc.), but it is usually a waste of time on my part unless other parties are actually interested. Otherwise, it is like talking with a brick wall.
