Too bad none of this will work to distract anyone from the fact that I never claimed the PS4 was perfect, and in fact posted links to articles saying that it had failure rates of a little under 1%, and that Mr. Scarface is STILL failing to admit that he was wrong to make up faulty info.

So you could care less. That means you care to a certain degree. Why do you care at all about the failure rate of a console you don't own?

Way to be bipolar. You went from saying PS4s had a high failure rate to us saying the PS4 is perfect. Nobody said that there is no such thing as a broken PS4 except you. If you're going to lie in this thread then at least have something to back up your claim. A reddit post, an Amazon review...anything.

I have to admit, it would be nice to say PlayStation on and turn on my PS4. I don't think that's worth $100 though. The mute function would be useful, but I use a headset at least half the time.

I guess since no worthwhile games have come out for either console people have to argue about hardware bugs and such. Titan Fall is getting a lot of hype but it looks like a futuristic Call of Duty. Your character seems to jump from building to building ala spider man or something.

 

I don't get this argument. There are no games on PC I want that I don't already have. Nor are/were there any games on 360 or PS3 that I wanted that weren't on PC.

I am enjoying next-gen 2k and CoD on my PS4 becuase PC is getting really ****ty support from developers (outside of Valve). I am looking forward to the next Black Ops and 2k and maybe a few other games. I don't care for Uncharted, Halo, Titanfall, etc.

Why do people think think all gamer buys a next-gen system to play exclusives or something. I'm okay with the games that are on both systems. I don't need to spend more than $150 on games per year. Give me 2-3 games and I'm fine.

The reason we are arguing this nonsense is because Mr. Scarface just throws anything that makes the PS4 look bad and the Xbone look good at the wall and hopes something sticks so he can beat that argument to death. Everyone who responded is calling him out for lying.

This coming from someone who is so concerned about others' opinion of him that he refuses to admit that he was wrong in making crap up. Or do you still claim that your "There were a lot more than 1%" is accurate, and that you have a source for it?

I almost feel sorry for you. It would have been so easy when me and Drex originally (and politely) asked you for a source to simply admit that you didn't have a source, and say that it wasn't even your main point anyway. Instead, you dug your heels in and acted like you did nothing wrong. A person who "doesn't care" about what other posters think doesn't do that. He does the easy/right thing and admits his mistake from the beginning -- which has the added bonus of diffusing all this nonsense before it even begins.

But instead of doing that, you've 1) made a very bad bluff to make us think a source for your statement was easily found ("All you have do is GOOGLE"), 2) hidden behind a dubious distinction ("issues" vs "failure rate", when in reality you don't have a source for either), 3) argued that the fact that you made crap up doesn't matter because it wasn't your original point, 4) tried to paint others as partisan by claiming they made statements that they never made (or at least that I never made: "I forgot... The PS4 is perfect. No problems at all. LOL."), and finally 5) claiming that you don't care what any of us thinks of you, anyway.

Yeah, with all that defending of your image you did, and the fact that you're trying so hard to convince all of us of the XB1's superiority -- truly, you don't care at ALL what we think! I totally see it now!

 

No, just trying to play the DVD in the Xbox itself. Nothing else is plugged into it. Using the USB cord that came with the system.

Seriously, dude, do you have some genetic condition making you incapable of admitting you were wrong? Or do you think you're God, and that therefore admitting you were wrong would make the universe collapse or something? Because again your post does nothing to support your statement that "There were a lot more than 1%." Nothing. I never said the PS4 doesn't have issues, I admitted it had a 1% failure rate!

So I can add to your cycle of ridiculousness: 6) post lots of sources that don't support my original statement, in hopes that everyone else is too dense to notice that they don't back up my statement.

Moreover, you claiming not to be an MS fanboy is pretty hilarious, considering the whole reason we're having this ridiculous discussion is that you won't admit you made crap up about the extent of the PS4's "issues." Yeah, you're really nonpartisan! Lying about the extent of the PS4's problems and refusing to cop to it really displays your zen-like neutrality.
