Contenders keep practicing and trying new things/plays (not Howard shooting a three).

No way, Jones' voice is not that deep or powerful.

Doesn't look scared to me at all, just disinterested and putting out half-effort and low energy.

He worked to get this contract and nothing to be embarrassed. Morey is the stupid to one to work out this toxic pill contract for us. Lin should not be here. He got cut by the team and came back. If you fired one of your boy and your box got him back later to work for you, it is definitely not good for your team.

Hardens halves were night and day. Started 6/9 finished 1/7. I guess you could say that about most the team, but we will take the win.

On to Tuesday, a win against the Heat would be huge for our confidence.

It's an $8.3 million expiring and he is owed $15 million. If the Rockets send $3 million cash then it's not as bad and it will still save teams over the cap some money while providing them with a backup PG.

-Have to check the lineups again, but it seems that the Piston did better by going with Smith and Drummond without Monroe. If so, this would be consistent with the data showing that they are better with only 2 out of these 3 guys rather than all 3 on the court at the same time.

    - The Rockets got mistake prone in the 2nd half, with both the starters and the bench. Made some key shots down the stretch to keep the Pistons away but this level of play won't get it done vs. some of the better teams.

    - Good to see Casspi out of his slump. Lin is still slumping. Made a few good "energy" plays on defense and rebounds, but the shot isn't there and neither is the explosiveness. Asik hasn't looked quite as sharp of late also. Maybe he is still working on his conditioning.

Agree. Don't have to be so mean to our players. They all get up and downs.

Thank you. I have yet to see the killer instinct that it takes to win a championship from the Rockets all season. Harden has shown flashes of having a killer instinct a few times in crunch time, but not the team as a whole.

They are a young team. At this point I just hope they win 1-2 rounds in the playoffs.

    0 would be bad
    1 would be alright
    2 would be good
    3 would be great
4 would be amazing, but come on be serious.

Btw I wouldn't be so happy with the performance of your starters, barely hold a lead against one of the leagues worst teams. Gets blown out of the waters by Memphis, OKC, LA, just barely take out some of the average teams with a full squad. Especially the 3rd quarter has been atrocious. I don't see how the Rockets will be more than a 1st or lucky 2nd round exit the way they play.
I'm not even been pessimistic, I just don't have the confidence with the Rocket's coach unlike when I watch mid-level teams like Chicago, Memphis, Clippers, and even the GSW(although they're questionable).
Like when I watch the Clippers, it seems like the coach will be able to adjust the game and pull out wins at clutch moments. I mean let's put it like this, DeAndre Jordan went from being an athletic highlight bench player with poor defensive to the #1 Rebounding Player, #1 FG% shooter, #4 blocker in the NBA will great defensive and possibly DPOY. Did he just suddenly improve so vastly in 1 year? No, I think the coaches know how to motivate and use him properly but the Rockets just struggle when the real teams come to town.

The whole team didn't push the ball or play with the same determination on the defensive end in the second half. No need to single anyone out, the intensity just wasn't there
