Speaking of getting old, how can you possibly still not understand that 7.5 M is less than 8.3 M? Of course we would have had the money to pay Dwight.

I'm happy for Dragic, but in watching him play I don't see anything that Lin can't do or hasn't done at times for the Rockets. Last year, Lin was probably the better player when you consider that there was no one on that Phoenix team and he didn't put up the numbers he is doing now, whereas Lin had to share duties with Harden. He has a different coach, more experience and is playing with more confidence. Believe it or not despite (or because of?) Dragic's heroics, Phx is 1 game above .500 since Bledsoe went down with the injury. Clutchfans posters seem to forget that the big win streak that pushed the team into the top 4 was ignited in part by Jeremy Lin in the big wins against San Antonio and Dallas. They also seem to forget that when Beverley went down, Lin helped get the team to a winning record (and has actually a better winning % as a starter). They further forget that when the year started and Howard was trying to figure things out and Harden had some injuries, Lin was the guy who got the team wins to get off to a good start. I maintain, and it really isn't difficult to prove, that the team would be at least 6 or 7 games worse in the loss column without his performances. At the end of the day, however, the Rockets coaching staff doesn't believe Lin is part of the long-term plan and that trickles down to Clutch posters.

    This.

If a player does not want to stay, there is very little Morey or anybody else could do. Still, Dragic is a gamer and would have flourished in any system, including ours. Anything else are just excuses.

Man, you're delusional. Stop making excuses. The only thing Lin's proven is that he's mentally weak and extremely inconsistent, two things that go hand in hand.
Lin's unit, our bench, is basically built like that NY team and still Lin doesn't have the will to take over. If you think coaching is holding him back, you're wrong, it's not McHale's fault Lin throws those full court passes to no one in particular, it's not Mchale's fault Lin's favorite move is nosediving into the paint and stopping with nowhere to go. The whole team is probably very supportive of Lin as it's in everyone's best interest that he plays well, it's not their fault when he doesn't.

There is the proof of so many Dragon lovers here. Lol

You go with a younger Irving or rising star any time of the week. Dragon is going to regress one day.

You must not have watched Frozen the unrated, director's cut version. Princess Elsa was a real b**** behind the scenes. One kid brought her coffee with sugar instead of Splenda and she froze his ass right there on the spot to make an example out of him. Chick his hard to work with. Not sure if there will be a sequel.

Also, a lot of people don't know this, but my "sources" tell me that Olaf is a functioning alcoholic. They may have to find someone else to play that role or write his character completely out if they do make another one. I'm hearing a tragic campfire/marshmallow roasting gone terribly wrong. Sad...

Are you aware that Pheonix hasn't actually made the playoffs yet? When Dragic was here we were basically doing what Pheonix is right now but during the last 7 games of the season the Dragic lead Rockets choked their way to 9th place in the west. Hold your horses homeboy it's not guaranteed Pheonix is even a playoff team. Last year when we had no Dwight and Harden lead the rockets we made the playoffs even though we lost games late in the year dropping from 6th to 8th in the west. Harden is a better player bottom line. Ask every team in this league to choose between the two Harden is the choice.

Lol we made the playoffs last year because of Asik, remove him from last years line-up and we would be a lottery team, with or without Harden.

the challenge and joy is to draft, groom a younger player that has Dragic talents or better and who will be a hardcore Rocket.

Dragic is more of a Phoenix player right now and heavily involved in their system, and tradition.

Yes, dragic is better then Lin this season.
    Basically everyone agree's.

The end. He signed with the suns we signed Lin and no matter how many threads any ody makes it will never change. We got James ****ing Harden and Dwight ****ing Howard, the best SG and Center in the league, top 10 players, allstars, be happy with them.

Dragic agent asked Houston to match Phoenix offer because he wanted more money from Phoenix. Phoenix had just traded Steve Nash and was looking for another face of the franchise. Unlike the Astros with Carlos Beltran, Morey knew he was just being used to up the offer from Phoenix and walked away from the negotiating table.

Without Harden willing us in the clutch of soooo many crucial games the rockets wouldn't be shat period. Dragic in the clutch cannot be counted on 9 out of 10 times. Asik is a good role player who gives you a solid 10 and 10 but you can get that player easier then you can get a James Harden. If Asik is the player you claim him to be we will win the championship this year.

So Dragic's contract ends in 3 years when he is 30.
Would you want him that that he might be available by then?

We could trade for him but I think Morey will keep searching for younger options.

this right here. this ultimately depends on the type of player we land with the money we saved by not giving Dragon that player option. Who knows? Maybe with the way hes been playing, he opts out in search of more money.
