Don't forget went to same high school as Harden. Hamilton seems to have grown a lot from his first year at UT where he acted like a brat. He grew up over the summer and had a good second year before going pro. Looks like he has continued to get better.

By far the best form on the team - pretty textbook release. Also like that he's more of a set shooter for consistency.

It does look like perfect form - but is it just me or is it a kind of slow release? I wonder if a defender is closing out on him really fast - can he speed up that shot with accurate results or if needed, can he shoot a high arching rainbow quickly under defensive pressure?

Luckily he will be fairly open for many of his shots.

Yeah, not the quickest release and a little on the low side, but he has enough height that he shouldn't get blocked easily at all.

That's a good point. With more playing time, I hope he speeds up the release a tad - coupled with his height - naaaasty combination.

J-Ham goes HAM and hits 15 straight threes in practice.

What are you guys talking about that he has a slow release? Terrence Jones has a slow release. Hamilton's shot is compact and he doesn't jump very high. The ball seems to come out of his hands plenty fast in my opinion, especially so during live game action.

This man can knock down open, catch and shoot shots better than most players on the team. Could be a very under the radar and underrated pickup by the time the year comes to an end.

    This.

Slow release has never been a problem for him. You guys. Lol

The book on Hamilton is that he has shaky handles. Other than that, dude can absolutely ball out as a very nice role player. Talent wise, much more superior than Casspi or Garcia.

The kid can shoot. He is making contested shots and that is a good sign. Casspi and garcia brick open shots, so definitely an upgrade. Looks to me like a 40 percent three point shooter, much needed.

It seems like we found the back up wing we have been looking for. Hopefully Morey can keep him? But how does Morey keep finding these jewels?

If so many people are worried about Ham's 'slow release', then why did he not get blocked at all in the Clips game?
He knows how to get the shot off. Silky smooth. Looks like $$ to me.
It's Ham and gravy so far....

I just love the fact he holds his form all the way through the shot. No flicking here.
