I can't wait for Adidas' contract with the nba to end in 3 years, because that's the only thing that'll stop these ugly a s s sleeve jerseys. I'd rather have nike, but he'll even under armour as long as they just make jerseys that are reasonable
I like the option for sleeved jerseys. It's like a football jersey. Folks can wear it on occasions where the sleeveless ones don't work as well.
I'm think it's the league that wants sleeves not adidas unfortunately. We might see sleeves become the default in the NBA in the near future, that would suck.
I never even notice the sleeves when the game is on. you guys are just exaggerating with how awful it looks on the court
"You guys look like.... What do they look like, Jimmy?" "Dorks." "They look like a couple of dorks!" <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/RLliJpGBLA8" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Sleeve jerseys are actually quote comfortable to shoot in and play in, I bought a rockets one and have been practising in shoot arounds with it and haven't found much difference in amount of shots made/missed. No real restriction and it's ventilates really well. I'm not surprised more nba superstars don't advocate for them, I know dwight and chandler both like them though.
Why are they in half Spanish? Los Suns is dumb. If you want to go Hispanic, go all the way. Los Soles, Los Toros, Los Cohetes, etc.
Then they wouldn't really be able to relate to the teams, since that's not what they call them. It's not really a language thing, as much as it is a hispanic/latin thing.

they're a marketing gimmick and it sells. i think its good to represent the spanish speakers in this country, sure why not, and change the jerseys to the spanish translations, cool, something special. but the sleeves and patterns are ugly. but they know if they do something different it will sell. they need a different one each year to sell them again and again.
