thanks for the info, and yes its a big difference from barnes & dudley who have both lost starting jobs this year, to coming to houston with parsons part of the big 3 here as the starter. I see you brought up gordons name.. Any info on PFs/Centers? is he interested in charle V, camby or Jamison as a stretch 4 ?

I'm thinking that too. Not bad off the bench he will fit the rockets offense.

Any info on who is first on the chopping block? Probably Greg Smith, right?

Interesting. I heared Bulls, Clipps and Rockets opted to him, so let's guess it's between Bulls and Rockets now.

This one seems like a legit chance.

    Works for me.

An experienced vet that can hit the open jumper and doesn't bring any baggage into the locker room.

That team option on Gordon for next year would be huge IMO. I think he's a perfect fit as 6th man going into next season.

He plays better to me when he's on a winning team.

Isn't March 1 the deadline for players to be in a playoff roster? So we should get breaking news later this evening. Get ready for that 50-70 page thread.

40% career 3 point shooter? I'll take that.

Wouldn't matter. He will get an entirely new contract if he's bought out.

Gordon is a reasonable bet. A bench of Lin/Gordon/Hamilton/DMo/Asik looks dramatically better than what we've had for most of the season. It may even allow us to move TJones to the bench if he's not performing with the starters.

    Beverley / Lin
    Harden / Gordon
    Parsons / Hamilton
    DMo / TJones
    Howard / Asik

If JJ Redick is indeed out for season, then he has a good chance. Crawford also strained his calf in the HOU vs LAC game and was out for the 2nd half and who knows for how much longer.

Slim pickings. Ben Gordon is about as good as you can get after Morey fails with Granger, I guess.

He can probably still shoot, but a red flag is that a Charlotte team that actually are trying to win and has been in desperate need of 3 point shooting this year decided never to play him and then released him.

The Bobcats even traded for a "just OK" Gary Neal and took on extra years in salary. Why do that of they had any confidence in a "in house" candidate?

Also, Morey gets another Euro if this happens.

As long as they're released before March 1st, I believe. They don't have to be signed before that date.

Ben Gordon would be a nice addition. More bench scoring is needed.

There would be less pressure on offense if the Rockets had a bit more defense.

I'm cringing at the thought of a Lin, Gordon, & Harden line up.

Ben Gordon makes a lot more sense than Danny Granger. He'll be grabbing minutes from Lin/Beverley and fits the offense as a shooter the Rockets sorely lack.
