This?? (J/K, I agree :grin Camby has not played in a long time. We don't even know in what kind of shape he is, let alone game shape. If he hasn't been running, training, practicing, etc... he won't be able to do even a couple of sprints, especially at his advanced age.
If the player is a former rocket, then am pretty sure its Camby, Camby used to be one of the best defensive centers in the league but isn't the dude like 40.....?????
if its a rocket I think its metta world peace. can provide vet leadership and defense. I think morey was just waiting to see what happens with butler, gordon, and granger.... all of which are prob going to sign with the clippers
Probably Greg Smith's injury is a long term concern this year and Camby is coming. Camby is not good/great news...what a let down!
Can Artist still play? After reading the Yoyo's Courtside report of the Clippers game and how physical they were with us, I would like some toughness added to the team. If anything, I bet he would into Griffin's head.
I'm shocked ppl think Camby isn't a good insurance pick up esp since he's had all season off. Two years ago this man took Dalemberts starting spot on this team w/ a broken left hand. Yet he's not a serviceable 3rd string center for what we hope to be 4 more months of basketball? Even if Smith wasn't injured this would be a good idea
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>As Caron Butler gets closer to finalizing a decision, Oklahoma City continues to be a strong consideration, league sources tell Yahoo.</p>— Adrian Wojnarowski (@WojYahooNBA) <a href="https://twitter.com/WojYahooNBA/statuses/439403157454856192">February 28, 2014</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> It's definitely not Caron Butler.
Presti is paying a lot of money for Perkins, not because he thought Perkins was all-world, but because that team needed an enforcer. Bev might pound for pound the toughest guy in the league but I like my tough guy to be a bit bigger.
The best news for the Rockets isn't signing anyone, it is that JJ Redick's back isn't getting any better. The Clippers can add all the washed up Danny Granger's and Glen Davis' they want, because they are not the same team without JJ Redick.
I can agree with, but at the same time, I don't like this aura that is developing around the Clippers that "it is the place to be", similar to the Heat. That makes it much easier to keep on reloading year after year with veteran help. What are we, chopped liver?
The Clippers are accumulating rotting corpses. We snagged Hamilton. That's clearly a plus for us, so far. I keep rooting for TJ and DMo, and they show flashes, but Blake just did them both so nasty... I suspect DM will pass on Villanueva, hope TJ/DMo develop, and we go TT against the Clippers as much as possible-- which might mean adding Camby.
