The Rockets offensive system is easy to defend Everyone look lost scrambling around. Got out coached, the clips pull the 2 pg in the line against Mchale, should of counter wih bev, lin and harden or hamilton at sf and dwight at center or asik and Mchale did nothing.

    Rockets weak at pf.

In the second half, the bench mob only let a 2 point Clips lead increase to a 4 point lead despite some boneheaded plays by DMo, Lin and Asik. I think our bench can and on their bench.

I'm looking at James harden stats every year vs clippers... and they are horrible..

    below 40% shooting each year.
His best was 2012-2013 were he went for 23 pts w/ 40% shooting from field.

I would not wanna play the clippers in the playoffs.

The only game we won over Clippers was last year without Harden. Lin was the starter at that time. Check the stat. What's that tell you.

    I checked the box score.

Lin had 6 turnovers and 3 assists.

Thing is, I like Lin. But lately I've had to admit that his stats are lacking. And yet I really like to watch him play and he hasn't started for a losing team yet. So got me thinking... Maybe the reason Lin tends to win and people like him so much all boils down to the crazy pace he plays at.

The one thing Lin does is run faster and more than everyone else. Maybe he just basically tires the other team out. lol

Hey whaddya know, 6TO and 3 assists is identical to what Harden had last night (in 42minutes - Lin in 31min)weird.

Lin's confidence and composure is lacking... he's not really thinking on the court, at least that's what it seems like to me. He's just going out and playing and hoping plays go his way. He needs to mature, gain some confidence, and play with a purpose... and his shot could use some work.. that thing is... middle school level.

Honestly you need to watch that game. It was a beautiful game and in my opinion the best version of a tough lin trying to make things happen.

I wouldn't look closely into that box score.. The Clippers were on the 4th game in 5 nights road trip when they played the Rockets that game.

That's fine. At least, we will try that formula next we face them. When one of their bigs sit down in either Jordan or Griffin, we can go into a more conventional lineup. When both are playing, we should have Howard and Asik, plus Lin, Bev, Harden or Parsons, with Harden guarding a slower s/f, rather than one of their shooting guards.

I think this should work or it is worth a try.

    * PS. Other posters have mentioned that lineup as well.

Same thing parsons said on interview at 790 that really let's me know the heart of this team. You think the team that won 22 straight were worried about back to backs ? NO They wanted to go out and fight every night wanted to come out with the W. That was the last thing on their mind a bk to bk.

See heat, clippers, pacers, OKC, spurs.. They all go on 10+ winning streaks, you won't catch them talking about a schedule how FANS & PLAYERS do in Houston.
