did people really blame the loss yesterday on lin? Parsons was 3-13, -21, Harden was 6-16 with 6 TO. I'm far away from being a LOF (just look at my join date) but some of you need to use logic before posting

He's been terrible lately. That's the point people are pointing out.

We lost yesterday, but Jordan Hamilton looked good.

    A bright spot.

Lin, as the point , should have fed him more.

Some people may be blaming him but I'm not. As I previously stated and you just stated PARSON's was horrible yesterday. And not to mention the disappearance of TJones as of late. HOWEVER, what most of us are saying is that Lin has been the most inconsistent player in our rotation, throughout the year. Linconsistency, as I would like to call it. And the fact that he gets paid so much doesn't detract the criticism he is getting. Sorry but if you get paid that much and are consistently under-performing you will get torched.

Once again...I don't think there are too many people blaming the loss on Lin, they are just saying he sucks.

I've never been very high on Lin and was devastated (sports devastation) when we re-signed him. I thought even through all the Linsanity stuff, he still turned the ball over WAAAAY too much. If he consistently produced like Harden, you can live with too many turnovers here and there, but all he does consistently now is lose the ball. He makes passes with ZERO conviction and his handles are atrocious. Doesn't even shoot with a high percentage or play any defense.

I don't know what the answer is at backup PG, but it's not Lin. Anybody know much about Troy Daniels?? Maybe he can come in and play backup PG/SG. He's lethal from 3 and plays a little defense. That's all we would need out of him.

So you're saying he should take minutes from players who earned them for playing how they should play, in order to get him to play how he should play?
Dude, they get rewarded PT for playing with confidence, taking risks, attacking, and succeeding. Not the other way around.

And teammates and coaches will lose confidence and trust in him, when he doesn't even have confidence in himself. They shouldn't have to give him special treatment just because he is sensitive and emotional or needs more encouragement than the rest.

Bottom line is the Lin is such a liability right now with the way he is playing that if he doesn't improve, the Rox can't afford to keep sending him out there. Have to start playing Canaan to see if he is a viable option to give you some quality shooting/minutes. If you have to start handling Lin with kid gloves because of his confidence, then he doesn't need to be out there. Period.

When Lin was on the floor, the team outscored the Clips. In the 4th quarter, Lin moved the ball and got good shots for people. Some of those shots didn't fall. He went into the teeth of the active Clips defense and couldn't get shots to fall. Not because of a lack of effort, but because the Clippers were just a little better. If the Rockets had stuck with Lin and told him to keep going into the lane, the Rockets would've had better shot opportunities and would've had a better chance to win the game. But for making 2 more shots of the 8 he took, Lin played a good game.

I don't want to have a "Beverley Sucks" thread because that's insulting, but if the Rockets fans want to direct their anger at losing to a good team on the road at anyone, it should be at the person they anointed as the starting PG as well as a rather down performance from Harden, Parsons and Howard (Q4).

As long as Beverley remains the PG and is going to be asked to play 30 minutes, the Rockets will see more results like this loss (and the one at GS). Beverley is a specialist on defense who can run the floor. He is not a PG. Lin is a quality PG who has proven that he can be productive when given the opportunity.

So if I was on the floor instead of Lin, we still would have outscored the Clippers because I guarantee I could have played as well as Jeremy Lin last night. And I DO NOT belong in the NBA. Trust me.

    I think I said last year depth should've been Beverley--AB (2nd)--Lin (3rd)

    Looks like I was right

So I guess correlation = causation?

You want to ignore Dmo, Asik, Hamilton in the lineup and want to credit the guy that couldn't even bring the ball up to half court in a proper manner?

He is not the reason we lost, but his play isn't worthy of an NBA player. I can tell you that a couple more games of this and Dwight and the rest of the team will have had enough. Somebody else will be getting the burn.

I agree 100% Too bad we weren't able to trade Lin for Hamilton. I think we'd have a solid squad right now.

Dude, take your Lin homer glasses off. He didn't play a good game, he made really crappy decisions. Now other people played crappy too but the fact that you think Lin played well means he really is at best an average player.

so it comes to the point where people on this board think they can play as well as Jeremy.

I remember last year when Lin had a horrible game, there was a poster saying he thinks he can beat Lin one on one.

Bev is better at aggressive defense than Lin.
He also racks fouls like no tomorrow by doing that.

5 fouls in 7 minutes in the 4th quarter alone. Fouled out in 29 minutes. 3rd time this season.

I don't care how much he was harassing CP3 but his bonehead fouls alone put the opposing team to line with 3 minutes left.

Yet people were praising his bravery and not backing down. I say that was playing dumb. Why would you keep hand checking if the refs are calling those all night long? And knowing CP3 is one of the best floppers.

People saying the trade talk on Lin is an excuse for him to be bad, and shouldn't. That's easier to say than done.

If you were dump by your GF, you probably not gonna be 100% productive at things you do until you get over it.
If you know your company wants to fire you, you probably don't want to give your 100% to the company anymore.

**** happens. They are human. They are young. You internet warriors need a break. Just relax and enjoy the great season we're having. Peace.

Either your expectations for Lin are extremely low, or you are truly delusional. The only Rockets on the floor last night who arguably had a "good game" are named Omer Asik, Donatas Motiejunas, and Jordan Hamilton. I know your M.O. is making excuse after excuse after excuse for Lin, but come on.

Its not about credit its about the discredit that bothers the fans.
Its a given he played well thus far on the stats alone. No one can take that away.

As of now he's been struggling even the LOF sees it.

Yesterday was an elite team...yet he held his ground well in comparison to the other starters. No one here ask you to give him any credit...I presume you're just here to discredit him only.

Out of curiosity, have you b**** about Harden and Parson for yesterday game?
Yesterday was an elite team. It should count the most right?
