I came close to drafting him. He would fit nicely on a lot of teams but I've noticed older celtics greats don't get much love. Sam Jones, Dave Cowens, Cousey, Bill Sharman, Havlicek, Parish...etc don't love from the judges is how I feel.
I was originally going to draft him late but he was picked up. Older players get no love breh all dem yung cats gettin lovr
Ooo crap I figured out who I have to play, I got Yung- t with Hakeem. FFS just give me the L now brehs....
There were way too many players drafted from the current era. All of my players played in the 70's except DWade since everyone undervalued them. Guys from the 50's like Sharman and Mikan people feel might not be that great in today's game--I'm not so sure. These judges undervalue talent and overvalue fit. These are the same types of people who thought the Heat would fail since Lebron and DWade didn't "fit." Talent wins in this league.
When I posted that I was going to change my voting technique.. I meant increasing the value of past time players! My out should consider it too bcuz that will potentially influence trade and drafting in future drafts!

Here's my lineup, should everyone just post theirs? PG - Magic Johnson SG - Vince Carter/ Alvin Robertson SF - Dominque Wilkins / Carmelo Anthony PF - Willis Reed C - Dikembe Mutumbo/ Tyson Chandler
No, i am on my phone, i was going to look for everyone's roster but it would take too long and take away from my thinking/voting process. Someone always posts matchups VoA jus give it time.
I was going to post lineups for you guys but thething, Rocketsred14, yungt and others need to updated their signatures with their rosters.
Basically this. I think modern NBA is more developed and players are better suited to fit what I think is more effective basketball.
Torque's final lineup was this: g Steph Curry / Sam Cassell g Kobe Bryant / David Thompson f Scottie Pippen f Elton Brand c Alonzo Mourning / Dave Cowens
They're different, but yet, they go together. A top hall of fame old guy helps the team more than a current glue guy. Here's an example: When a guy like Bruce Bowen gets drafted WAY ahead of Sam Jones, there is a problem. That is drafting fit over talent. I don't think there is a scenario where a team would be better off with Bowen. Everyone agrees that Jones is supremely more talented than Bowen. A hall of famer like Jones always helps the team more. Just because he played before the 3-point line era is irrelevant. You have to give him the benefit of the doubt that he would be able to be a great player in this era.
