Parsons is a GREAT role player, smart player, fits Morey's 3 n layup strategy well. But he could absolutely not be a number one option. He's great is his current role but there is a reason we need another playmaker on the floor

also for jones have to remember it's a long nba season and he was very active all star weekend so he really didn't have time to rest.

this is really jones 1st experience starting. similar to what lin went through last year where not knowing what to expect over a full season. hopefully he gets some rest after this road trip and will be back on track.

Just finished watching the game because I was so exhausted that I feel asleep at half time. Anyhow, this game had the air and atmosphere of a playoff game. Ultimately, we didn't win but we did show that we can hang with the Clips in a seven game series. To me this is exciting!

    30 - pts off turnovers
    19 - 2nd chance pts

Rockets need to keep this under 30.

True. Team wasn't ready to play, but we didn't get embarrassed. Also, 2nd night of a B2B and Parsons supposedly had the flu.

The Rockets better win the March matchup though. Hopefully by 8+ points. Rockets need to beat IND, split with MIA, and beat POR in 2 weeks.

Lets just face it the Clippers have our number. Hopefully in the playoffs,if we play them our guys will bring their A game. We turn the ball too much and give up a ***** load of 2nd chance points against the Clippers.

IMO the refs missed two critical calls in which resulted to back to back 3's for the Clippers.

I still think they should have gone with Lin over new guy in thr end, possibly even Lin over Parsons given how Parsons was playing.

Lin showed last month how he good he could be in 4th q, he was not awful in First half, in fact the bench recaptured the lead. I know a lot of you will disagree but I think this was a coaching mistake.

Winning this game would have been huge, but give it to the Rockets, they have to be tired….long road trip, back to back, Parsons sick. They didn't quite have enough in the tank. As usual, turnovers were the back breaker. Harden followed a superb game with a stinker. Hamilton was impressive again. He was the first person off the bench. This is an interesting story.

Then there was one where he boggled an easy Lin hand off under the basket and ended up throwing it to a clip to start a clip fast break

They wouldn't be happy if they stayed either. When we have star players like Harden and Howard, PG have to sacrifice their control of the ball a lot.
