We really should consider playing Canaan over Lin. I don't see how he could possibly play any worse. Lin has to be playing some of the worst basketball in the league among point guards over the last month or so.
That was before he got hurt, but it's cool since Lin has been playing bad it's best to play him 10-15mins as a back up only it's not like he plays a 6th man role anyway. I'm not making excuses at all but if u cut lins mins expect to see even worse he's a type of guy that has to get in a groove he's going to turn it over that's what he does and most PGs do but cp3. But if u expect him to just come in and go off not playing balanced mins then you're wrong Best combo was Lin + bev.. He forgot how to play with harden at this point, & that's how mchale has been using him
Lin has one job: play aggressively! Which means keep the ball moving, or try to get to the rim with gumption either for the layup or the kickout or even that fading jumpshot after he comes 2-3 steps back out of the paint. What is he doing now? Driving halfway and stopping in no man's land to pass out to a 3pt camper who is not open. He's also sent passes straight to the other team for easy points... he didn't used to do that. The guy is just a completely different player than aggressive Lin. It's crazy that he can get this cold for this long. Because of it, his shots are not falling either. He needs to fire himself up. No one can do it for him. An aggressive Lin would have won tonight's game if he had just stepped up. He's not making the most of his opportunity. Last games he was good were 7-8 games ago. He needs to take notes from DMo on capitalizing during his minutes.
I hope not. If we can't trade him for anything worth a salt and he still won't play well, I want him to rot here. I'm not into giving that useless twig any money for an early retirement.
JLin is not a joke. This thread is a joke. So much hate being perpetuated unfairly against one Rocket player and he is the only ethnic Chinese in NBA. Why? He had a triple double lately. He is in a slump but he is playing less minutes than Bev. The attack on him is just so unfair. This game is lost not by Lin who played a much lesser role than when he is starting. Parsons is way off tonight, so is Harden. Bev playing starter minutes had 5 pt and 4 TOm no steal, Lin playing 18 minutes had 6 pt, 2 TO but 2 steals. But as usual in this thread, Lin is bashed again & again and blamed for the loss. If this hate is not racially based, not sure why so much hate of a nice guy Lin. Clutch should just close this thread. It is a shame.
THIS is my problem with Lin, he plays SCARED, passive and looks like he will get eaten alive again in big time games/playoffs. I can deal with bad games but Lin's passiveness is rendering him useless right now.
People do realize that wanting Lin to fail to spite his only fans is exactly the same behaviour as LOFs wanting Bev/Harden etc to fail to spite rocket fans? I cannot be the only one that can see this, I guess it's just accepted cause LOFs are the plague etc Lin needs to get his game together, he invariably breaks out of his funks but he's absolutely king **** of turd island with how he's performing
No, that isn't true. We chose LIN over Dragic. It had nothing to do with Howard. Dragic makes less money than Lin. Morey screwed this one up.
I'm not a Lin hater or LOF but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that Lin has been playing like complete garbage.
