Any team he signs with will be for the Vet minimum, why would anybody pay for his production?

It should really be between the Rockets and the Heat.

Best young team and the best team in the last two, three years.

Yes, Rip has been a major addition to this Rockets team. Suprising though, seeing how his game is centered around his mid-range jumper. Morey really broke the mold with Rip. Can't believe he's still wearing that mask though... Crazy

Doc River is batter recruiter than Morley. Game over. Morley almost always loses these.

the Rockets are the perfect fit for him. He could play 15-25 minutes and be the finisher at stretch 4.

This smells like a Tmac to San Antonio signing.

Don't really know in what sense you mean. The team that signs Granger will use him.

If Granger wants PT, why would he choose the stacked Clippers? Once Crawford goes back to be the sixth man, how much PT can he get if Big Baby, Jamal, Hedo, Barnes and Collison taking most of that bench time?

Would like to see us go after him hard. DM needs to hop on that for this playoff run. That would be mean Casspi or Garcia gone.....which I don't mind.

I think Jordan Hamilton might be the safer bet. Granger has that broken down vet condition. I like how, even though it was garbage minutes, Hamilton defended in a way that Garcia or Cassipi couldn't with their lives on the line. Garcia and Cassipi need to be bought out if Granger comes to Houston. Granger and Hamilton will assume their roles and make the Play Off Roster.

It is not a big deal if we can not get him. If we can get him, I am fine with him too.

Going to the Clippers makes zero sense, outside of wanting to play for Doc. They have 35 PF's playing in front of him, while we have a spot he can slide right in (pause). If he's smart he'd come to Houston. We're young, exciting, and he has a opportunity to rebuild his image with us. No pressure

Granger shot 36% from 3 in the month of Feb.

He hasn't played much basketball the last 2 years, but has improved his shot every month since his return. There's no reason to think he won't head back towards being a 38% 3point shooter again.

He doesn't rely on athleticism like McGrady did, he is a legitimate corner 3 shooter. He also doesn't suffer from "quitters syndrome".

What on earth is the harm in giving him a shot and cutting Garcia? So he stinks? We just don't play him. OR if he continue to improve, we suddenly have a sweet shooting vet off the bench for the playoffs, and an intriguing piece going forward.

DO NOT understand the hatred towards pursuing him?
